2 CHEZACARB AC COMPOUNDS CHEZACARB Volume resistivity as a function of CB content (extruded sheets) 1E+09 Carbon Black for Polymer Compounds CHEZACARB AC is used in a wide range of plastics to obtain permanently antistatic, dissipative or electro-conductive materials. It is determined to impact: Electrical conductivity to plastics, rubber and paints Electromagnetic properties to plastics, rubber and paints Volume resistivity (Ohm.cm) Note: Compounding: twin-screw extruder Werner-Pfleiderer ZSK25 Thermal conductivity to plastics, rubbers and paints Pigmentation of paints and varnishes, coloration of plastics and rubber Typical market segments represent extruded profiles, pipes, sheets, blown films and injection moulded parts. CHEZACARB AC is not classified as hazardous (dangerous) according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP). Percolation curves the dependence of the volume resistivity on the carbon black concentration - represent first indications for choosing the appropriate dosage of carbon black to obtain required compound conductivity.
