11 Turning Cabin Heater On AIR INTAKE LEVER... FULL OPEN Leave fully open any time heater in use. HEATER SWITCH... SET CABIN HEAT TEMP LEVER...SELECT DESIRED TEMP Turning Cabin Heater Off GROUND HEATER SWITCH...SET FAN Leave AIR INTAKE Full Open for 2 Minutes Minimum to Prevent Overheat FLIGHT HEATER SWITCH...SET OFF Leave AIR INTAKE Full Open for 15 Seconds Minimum to Prevent Overheat NOTE: When heat is required, ATP recommends operating the heater on the ground prior to flight. This verifies that overheat protection wasn't actuated during a previous flight. If it was, turning the CABIN HEAT on will illuminate the overheat annunciator light. HEATER OVER TEMP ANNUNCIATION In the event of an overheat condition, the fuel, air and ignition to the heater is automatically cut off. Do not attempt to restart the heater until it has been inspected and the cause of the malfunction has been determined and corrected. 10 Piper Seminole

13 Avoid Runway Incursions HAVE AIRPORT DIAGRAM AVAILABLE. Acquire ATIS and review airport diagram for anticipated ATC taxi instructions. Contact ATC for instructions and verify per the airport diagram. Do not hesitate to request progressive taxi instructions. Read back all runway crossing and hold short instructions. Check for traffic before crossing any runway hold line or entering a taxiway.
