4 SUMMARY FOR MAY, EXPLORATION/DRILLING ACTIVITIES Only SPDC ( from the available data) carried out exploration/drilling activities during the month in review. The operation was carried out on 3 wells (Table1.0). 2.0 CRUDE OIL AND CONDENSATE 2.1 Production: Total wellhead gross production for the month was million barrels while terminal (fiscalised) production total for the month was about million barrels representing 1.68 million barrels per day, 12.42% decrease from production of million barrels or 1.99 million barrels per day in April, Lifting (Domestic and Export) Total crude oil and condensates lifting for both domestic and export was about million barrels. Oil companies lifted about million barrels (63.77%), while NNPC lifted million barrels (36.23%). Lifting by fiscal regime shows 23.41, and 2.31 million barrels for JVC, PSC/SC, and Others respectively. Out of NNPC s liftings, million barrels was for Federation Account (This includes, FIRS, DPR, PPMC Offshore, PPMC Crude Exchange & MCA accounts) while 1.40 million barrels was for domestic use. This is shown in Table i and the corresponding chart on the next page. Individual company liftings are also shown in Table 4.0 iii
