5 Sealed Insulated Glass Test Samples AI least twelve (12) test samples must be submitted. If you offer Low-E then Low-E must be used in the test samples. Ifwithin the NFRC program gas (argon) is offered then the cavity must be gas filled. The glass must be 14" x 20" in overall size. Oversized lest samples will not iii into the test equipment. Glass thickness must be at least 5132" (4mm) but not greater than 114" (6mm), The spacer must be at least 1/4" (6mm) in thickness but not greater than 112" (12mm). Note - Grids should not come within two (2) inches of the overall center of the 14" x 20" as this will make them unable 10 test for frost point. The lest samples should reflect normal product in all other aspects. For triple glazed IG fourteen (14) lest samples must be submitted. The glass must be 5/32" (4mm) and the spacers must be 114" (6mm) so the overall thickness of the units doesn't exceed one (I) inch. Both cavities must be gas filled and the center lite should be Low-E. Prior to shipping test samples. this form must be filled out and sent to A.L.1. (kcn'ii assoc-llihs.cum) for review.
