Specific instructions included for multiple fixture applications. Fixtures should be installed by a licensed electrician. Wall mount in vertical position only.

2 NOTE: Wall mounting hardware is not included due to the wide variety of wall materials. Customer should determine the appropriate anchoring hardware required for their specific needs. Ivalo Lighting recommends the use of #8 minimum mounting hardware. Total weights of fixtures are as follows: 30 : 24 lbs & 60 : 46 lbs. Fixtures with length 030 consist of. Fixtures with length 060 consist of s &. Please note lens orientation when mounting fixtures to wall. Fixtures can be positioned in two different and unique ways. For 60 fixtures, lenses should form a connected, flowing pattern. 30 fixture 60 fixture OR OR 4

5 3. For 30 fixtures, place sconce face down on a protective surface and remove Top Locking Plate (Fig. 1a) from Mounting Plate (Fig. 1b) by removing screw. For 60 fixtures, remove Top Locking Plate from separately packaged Mounting Plate. Set Top Locking Plate and screw aside for later use. Figure 1a Figure 1b Mounting Plate Top Locking Plate 4a. On 30 fixtures, remove the Mounting Plate (Fig. 1b) by sliding toward the bottom and then pulling up. If unit has Pulse control option, remove Connector Plate (Fig. 1c) by taking out 2 screws. e careful not to tear gasket material. Figure 1c Connector Plate 4b. For 60 fixtures, remove Conector Plate (Fig.1c) from back of both modules by taking out 2 screws. e careful not to tear gasket material. 5

6 Installation 5. T rcuit breaker and light switch. 6. Remove cross-bar, if present, and screws from round or octagonal junction box. 7. Place Mounting Plate on wall in the desired location with the Top Locking Plate opening at the top. Make sure the junction box is within the perimeter of the top rectangular opening. 8. Level the Mounting Plate and mark the mounting locations at the top center of all keyhole slots with awl. The 30 have 4 keyhole slots, 60 have 8 keyhole slots

7 9. Remove Mounting Plate from wall and install anchoring hardware at all marked locations per the manufacturer s recommendation for the specific type of wall material. 10. Install screws leaving 1 4 spacing between screw head and wall surface. DO NOT install the top left screw. This will be installed later to hold a safety chain for inspection purposes. 1/4 11. Place Mounting Plate over the screw locations () and slide down over screws (). Tighten top right screw. Re-level Mounting Plate and then tighten remaining screws. 8 12. Pull wires from junction box. 13. ttach safety chain located on the back of to the remaining mounting anchor location at top left of Mounting Plate. Use the provided washer and insert the anchor through the last link of the chain. Install at the top left keyhole slot in the Mounting racket. 14. Use wire connectors to make corresponding connections with power cord wires from junction box. Make sure junction box gasket is positioned over power cable so it will fit over wires when connections are made. White: neutral Green: ground C lack: power (120 V~) C 8

9 15. Push wire connections into junction box. With screws provided, attach cover plate and gasket to junction box. Make sure a good seal is made between gasket and junction box. Unit NOTE: For 30 fixtures with Control Option: Non-Dim no further wiring is required. Proceed to step 16b. 9

10 16a. ccess low voltage electrical connections for wiring. For fixtures requiring the optional Color Kinetics iplyer 3 DMX controller, attach category 5 control cable with RJ45 plug to either socket. It is the customer s responsibility to provide this control cable to the fixture installed according to all applicable codes. Route cable out bottom of opening. C Reattach Connector Plate with screws previously removed. C OR 16b. ttach to wall mounting plate by aligning the 4 slots on chassis rails with 4 horizontal pins located on sides of the Mounting Plate. Slide in and then down to secure in place. 10

11 Silvus TM Wiring configurations for 60 Fixtures: 60 Fixtures are comprised of two s mounted on one 60 frame. Note: lways mount on top and then below. Review lens diagram layout in Step 2. D fter making a connection to, place the Female end of the -to-module wiring cable between the channel of the mounting plate. ttach to wall mounting plate by aligning the 4 slots on chassis rails with 4 horizontal pins located on sides of the mounting plate. Connect male end of provided -to-module cable to female socket. ttach category 5 control cable with RJ45 plug to either socket. It is the customer s responsibility to provide this control cable to the fixture installed according to all applicable codes. Route all cable out bottom of opening. 13 17c. Mount to mounting plate in same manner as. 17d. Use long handled No. 2 x 8 Phillips screwdriver to lock in place. Rotate 1/4 turn clockwise. 18. Reattach the Top Locking Plate with screw previously removed. This prevents module from being inadvertently removed from Mounting Plate. 19. Turn on circuit breaker and light switch. 13
