8 BAll valve Type HKSF-JS-GT PN 16 Thermal controlled self-closing facility Test principle VP 301 This thermal controlled self-closing facility greatly contributes to the fire safety means of gas installations. Based on VP 301 this safety facility possesses a thermal controlled self-closing system which, by means of an elaborately designed closing and sealing device, gaurantees absolute internal and external sealing. An ambient temperature in excess of 70 C trips a self-activating closing syustem with automatic stop valve locking facility rendering reopening impossible. A steel ball with special bedding in housing closes the gas supply with absolute safety. The sealing is not only ensured during the fire, even after the pipes have cooled down the internal and external sealing is maintained. 9 Right angle ball valve with or without insulating joint Type EKSF og EKSF-I/GT PN Internal thread / / RMA Right-Angle ball valves, with or without insulating joint, offer maximum safety with minimum space requirements. Cast steel housing, Nirosta-switching spindle and a chrome plated steel ball are prerequisites to not only meet the test requirements of VP301 but largely surpass them. An elaborated sealing system guarantees absolute sealing. Normally elastomer seals fulfil the sealing function, in case of fire a metallic lip seal expansion element is actived, which ensures internal and external sealing even after the valve has cooled down again. In combination with a thermal activated RMA-Self-Closing facility this system represents the much sought after ultimate safely system. 10 Hot tap ball valve Type HKSF-A/PE with hot tap electro clamp from Friedrichsfeld with G + F-hotp tap electro clamp with hot tap devices RMA hot tap ball valve is very suitable for horizontal hot tap on a PE-HD main pipe - under pressure - but without gas offtake. One side has weld-on hot tap device from Friedrichsfeld, G + F or Plasson. On the other side weld-on PE-HD for the lead on of the pipe branch. The pipe branch on the valve casing has external thread for the installation of the hot tap device. Available with or without garniture. Advantages Design The depth of the distribution pipe can be reduced with cm if you use RMA hot tap ball valve. This means lowering of the cost of the excavation. The level hot tap obtains the advantage that the pipe branch has the same level as the main pipe. There will be no problems of distance to the other distribution pipes and no resistance of pressure.
