M has combination switch reading function for reading the operation status of combination switches (light, turn signal, wiper and washer) in addition to a function for controlling the operation of various electrical components. t also has the signal transmission function as the passed point of signal and the power consumption control function that reduces the power consumption with the ignition switch. M is equipped with the diagnosis function that performs the diagnosis with SUT- and various settings. M detects the combination switch status signal 1 when the signals of UTUT 3 and UTUT 5 are input to UT 1. M judges that the TUR R switch and R WR W switch are when the signal 1 is detected.
