32 RD DST (D) SYST < UT DSS > [VT: R009] RD DST (D) SYST Diagnosis Description D: DSRT The VT system has two self-diagnostic systems. The first is the emission-related on board diagnostic system (D-) performed by the in combination with the. malfunction is indicated by the (alfunction ndicator amp) and is stored as a DT in the memory and in the memory. The second is the original self-diagnosis performed by the. malfunction history is stored in the memory. The detected items are overlapped with D- self-diagnostic items. or details, refer to - 129, "DT ndex". D- UT The provides emission-related on board diagnostic (D-) functions for the VT system. ne function is to receive a signal from the used with D-related parts of the VT system. The signal is sent to the when a malfunction occurs in the corresponding D-related part. The other function is to indicate a diagnostic result by means of the (alfunction ndicator amp) on the instrument panel. Sensors, switches and solenoid valves are used as sensing elements. The automatically illuminates in ne or Two Trip Detection ogic when a malfunction is sensed in relation to VT system parts. R TW TR DTT D- ne Trip Detection ogic f a malfunction is sensed during the first test drive, the illuminates and the memory stores the malfunction as a DT.
