5 < RUT > RUT RUTS RUTS [X TY] recaution for Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) "R " and "ST LT R-TSR" : The Supplemental Restraint System such as R and ST LT R-TSR, used along with a front seat belt, helps to reduce the risk or severity of injury to the driver and front passenger for certain types of collision. This system includes seat belt switch inputs and dual stage front air bag modules. The SRS system uses the seat belt switches to determine the front air bag deployment, and may only deploy one front air bag, depending on the severity of a collision and whether the front occupants are belted or unbelted. nformation necessary to service the system safely is included in the SRS R and ST LT of this Service anual. WR: To avoid rendering the SRS inoperative, which could increase the risk of personal injury or death in the event of a collision that would result in air bag inflation, all maintenance must be performed by an authorized SS/T dealer. mproper maintenance, including incorrect removal and installation of the SRS, can lead to personal injury caused by unintentional activation of the system. or removal of Spiral able and ir ag odule, see the SRS R. o not use electrical test equipment on any circuit related to the SRS unless instructed to in this Service anual. SRS wiring harnesses can be identified by yellow and/or orange harnesses or harness connectors. RUTS W US WR TLS (R R LTR) RS WR: When working near the ir ag iagnosis Sensor Unit or other ir ag System sensors with the ignition or engine running, T use air or electric power tools or strike near the sensor(s) with a hammer. eavy vibration could activate the sensor(s) and deploy the air bag(s), possibly causing serious injury. When using air or electric power tools or hammers, always switch the ignition, disconnect the battery, and wait at least 3 minutes before performing any service. XL Revision: 2010 ay XL-5

Sight becomes more natural and brighter because the amount of light are gained adequately and the color of light is sunshine-like white. The xenon bulb drops the amount of light, repeats blinking, and illuminates in red if the bulb reaches the service life. LLUT RL 1. ischarging starts in high voltage pulse between bulb electrodes. 2. Xenon gas is activated by current between electrodes. ale light is emitted. 3. The luminous tube (bulb) temperature elevates. vaporated halide is activated by discharge. The color of light changes into white. T: rightness and the color of light may change slightly immediately after the headlamp turned until the xenon bulb becomes stable. This is not malfunction. L0421 llumination time lag may occur between right and left. This is not malfunction. RUTS R TRUL SS Representative malfunction examples are; "Light does not turn ", "Light blinks", and "rightness is inadequate." The cause often be the xenon bulb. RT T L : igh eam Solenoid : The high beam solenoid drives the mobile valve shade. nd the mobile valve shade switches the high beam and low beam of headlamp. When the headlamp high relay is turned, magnetic force is applied to the high beam solenoid (1) by a current. The mobile valve shade (2) is switched to the high beam position. When the headlamp high relay is turned, the current stops. The mobile valve shade returns to the low beam position automatically. RT T L : iming otor : The headlamp levelizer adjusts the headlamp light axis upward and downward with the aiming motor integrated in the front combination lamp. RT T L : Swivel ctuator SL0129ZZ : SWVL TUTR The swivel actuator is installed in the headlamp unit. The swivel actuator consists of the swivel motor and the swivel position sensor. SWVL TR The swivel motor is the two-phase step motor. The swivel motor drives headlamp by exciting the two drive coils according to the drive signal from S control unit. The rotation direction of the swivel motor is changeable by changing the exciting pattern. SWVL ST SSR The swivel position sensor detects the headlamp swivel angle to transmit the swivel position sensor signal to S control unit. XL Revision: 2010 ay XL-9
