5 < RUT > RUT RUTS RUTS recaution for Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) "R " and "ST T R-TSR" : The Supplemental Restraint System such as R and ST T R-TSR, used along with a front seat belt, helps to reduce the risk or severity of injury to the driver and front passenger for certain types of collision. This system includes seat belt switch inputs and dual stage front air bag modules. The SRS system uses the seat belt switches to determine the front air bag deployment, and may only deploy one front air bag, depending on the severity of a collision and whether the front occupants are belted or unbelted. nformation necessary to service the system safely is included in the SRS R and ST T of this Service anual. WR: To avoid rendering the SRS inoperative, which could increase the risk of personal injury or death in the event of a collision that would result in air bag inflation, all maintenance must be performed by an authorized SS/T dealer. mproper maintenance, including incorrect removal and installation of the SRS, can lead to personal injury caused by unintentional activation of the system. or removal of Spiral able and ir ag odule, see the SRS R. o not use electrical test equipment on any circuit related to the SRS unless instructed to in this Service anual. When using air or electric power tools or hammers, always switch the ignition, disconnect the battery, and wait at least 3 minutes before performing any service. -5

Tilt motor is activated with automatic drive positioner control unit. Steering column is tilted upward/downward by changing the rotation direction of tilt motor. Tilt sensor is integrated in tilt motor. The resistance of tilt sensor is changed according to the up/ down position of steering column. The terminal voltage of automatic drive positioner control unit will be changed according to a change of tilt sensor resistance. utomatic drive positioner control unit calculates the tilt position from the voltage. 11 < SYST SRT > SYST anual function unction Seat synchronization function emory function ntry/xit assist function ntelligent ey interlock function xit ntry escription The driving position (seat, steering column and door mirror position) can be adjusted by using the power seat switch, tilt & telescopic switch or door mirror remote control switch. The positions of the steering column and door mirror are adjusted to the proper position automatically while linking with manual operation [seat sliding, seat lifting (rear) or seat reclining]. The seat, steering column and door mirror move to the stored driving position by pressing seat memory switch (1 or 2). n exit, the seat moves backward and the steering column moves upward. n entry, the seat and steering column returns from exiting position to the previous driving position. erform memory operation, exiting operation and entry operation by ntelligent ey unlock operation or driver side door request switch unlock operation. The automatic drive positioner control unit actuates each motor according to the operation of the door mirror remote control switch.
