Insulation Barriers add an insulation layer to the metal frame on the back of the ACB, allowing busbars to be run closer to the ACB carriage while maintaining phase to earth clearance. The new ACB body, carriage and retrofit kit are fit inside the old ACB carriage. Retrofit kits feature special contact bands for connection to internal contacts of old ACBs.
