Connection cannot be broken by pulling the cable or any other parts of the plug than the outer shell. To unmate the plug from the receptacle, just pull axially the outer shell. 3

9 K Series Models Shell types The K series connectors have been specifically designed for outdoor applications, manufactured in Brass (chrome plated), with nickel-plated sleeve, gold plated pins, Push-Pull Self-latching system and keying alignment. They include an inner sleeve and two seals to prevent penetration of solids or liquids into the housing formed by the plug, free socket, fixed socket. All models of this series are watertight to give a protection index of IP68 (when mated) when correctly assembled to an appropriate cable.
