We can vary head, cut and configurations to suit a variety of materials, work piece shapes and any access problems. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. Consumable and Tool Mix: Ata Group manufactures both tools and consumable, offering you the customer expertise in matching the right products for use in your work place. Using an ATA Tools and a Morrisflex burr can help to reduce FOTT, lower vibration exposure levels and reduce production labour costs. View our tool range at Always operate the burr within the recommended speeds guide. For guidance see page 5. Always select the appropriate shape, diameter and cut style for the application. Always ensure the appropriate tool is used and that it is regularly maintained. Always fix the maximum length of burr in the collet. Do not exceed the recommended maximum over hang. For guidance see page 5. Long burrs require slower running speeds. Always use a smooth cutting action with constant movement in both directions. Don t Run burr above the maximum operating speed, this can cause premature tooth wear. Don t Run a burr too slowly, this can cause chipping. Don t Sink the burr to more than one third of its periphery. Do not encapsulate. Don t Allow burr to become too hot, this may cause the braze to soften and cause the head to become detached from the (only applies to burrs where head diameter is greater than the diameter).
