February JCSC Meetings The Jaguar Club of Southern Colorado met at Jaguar Colorado Springs on February 19, 2013 for the monthly Board meeting. The highlights of that meeting include the upcoming Saint Patrick s Day parade, the selection of a date and possible venue for the 2013 Concours d Elegance and a discussion of the 2013 Western States Meet. Complete details of the Board of Director s meeting are in the February Meeting Minutes which were distributed the last week of February. The February dinner meeting was held at The Cliff House in Manitou Springs on February 27. 2

Choose from abundant activities such as shopping, biking, hiking, golf, ski lift rides, and alpine sliding. Bring your gold pan tricks and try your luck in nearby Placer Valley. Bring the family for summer fun in the mountains! The Concours weekend fun starts on Friday, June 28, when you check in to your lovely room or suite at Beaver Run Resort and admire the beauty that surrounds you. Of importance to all Cat owners, everyone gets underground parking! You will then join us for registration with a welcome reception of lively conversation, drinks, appetizers and music at Base Nine Bar and Restaurant. Dinner will be on your own in nearby historic downtown Breckenridge. Transportation will be provided into Breckenridge and back, or you could take advantage of the opportunity for a leisurely stroll into town. You may even decide to dine right on the mountain at Beaver Run. Go explore! No matter how far you wander, there is always shuttle service back to the hotel. Saturday, June 29, we have planned a very relaxing Concours Day, as all activities and meals for the day are merely a few steps apart. On Saturday morning, we will drive our Jaguars literally across the street and into Spencer s parking lot reserved exclusively for our club for the day. Shine up your cat and enjoy breakfast and lunch at your leisure. We 3

4 will have a lovely patio replete with bar and meal service provided from Spencer s all day! Plan to bring your historic dress whites for a very competitive round of croquet on the grounds in the afternoon right next to the Concours and patio. As the day winds down, you will have time to relax before meeting everyone for evening cocktails and dinner together at Spencer s Restaurant. On Sunday morning, June 30, we ve planned a scrumptious brunch to set the stage for the Awards Presentation with beautiful views from the third floor in the Coppertop III Room. As we conclude this fun weekend and you depart, there will be proposed alternative drives home that will vary your route if you please. For those staying over the holiday weekend, the resort will honor our special discounted rates from June 24 July 7! 18 For Sale Early XK 120 alloy/steel C4075 feeler gauge This is a hard to find tool-a double pivot feeler gauge with the correct.006 and.008 blades. This feeler gauge is in concours condition and an absolute necessity for the authentic very early XK 120 tool roll. E Type S2 original tool roll and tools This S2 roll is an original item, very nice, and all of the tools are in excellent condition. The correct double bit screwdriver does not look like it has ever been used, and the tyre gauge is the correct winged style for the S2 E Type S3 original too roll This is a complete roll with thr correct Heyco AF open ended spanners and the correct winged tyre gauge for the S3. The vinyl roll is in excellent condition along with the strap. XK 120 turn signal flasher C 5230 The correct turn signal flasher unit for the XK 120 is a "Tung Sol 241/D". Another difficult to find item, this is brand new in the box. "MK IV" and MK V Champion Spark Plugs L10 This a set of N.O.S. Champion plugs for the 3 1/2 "MKIV" and the MK V 3 1/2 cars.
