Jags & Java runs from 8am to 10am, rain or shine, and any make or model of car is welcome. 5 First and Main Car Show The First & Main First Saturdays Car Show is an annual event in it s 9th year of operation. This show runs every first Saturday from May to October from 8 to 10 A.M. The car show centers around bringing people of Colorado Springs together in a historic, fun filled, family friendly environment. The event is hosted IN A NEW LOCATION this year. 6 JCSC August Events What to do with your Jaguar in August August 4 will be the next First Saturday s Car Show at First and Main, North Carefree and Powers Blvd. Details of this show are on page 5 of this newsletter. August 11 is the next edition of Jags & Java - details on page 4 of this newsletter. August 11 is also the Jaguar Club of New Mexico Concours d Elegance in Santa Fe, N.M. Details on page 21. The Jaguar Club of Southern Colorado August drive and tour will be to the Forney Museum of Transportation, 4303 Brighton Blvd, in Denver. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 15 at 11:00 A.M. Please RSVP to Events@JagClub.org by August10 if you wish to attend. From the Forney Museum Web Page: The Forney Museum of Transportation is a one-of-a-kind collection of over 600 artifacts relating to historical transportation. It began 60 years ago with a single 1921 Kissel, but soon expanded to include vehicles of all kinds. Today it includes not just vehicles, but also buggies, motorcycles, steam locomotives, aircraft, carriages, rail equipment, fire apparatus, public transportation, sleighs, bicycles, toys & diecast models, vintage apparel and much, much more! It is a wonderful little bit of paradise in the Colorado foothills - a most delightful day spent with a marvelous group of people. 11 JCSC Fall Business JCSC By-Laws Review The JCSC will conduct the annual review of the Club By-Laws beginning in September. A copy of the current version of our By-Laws is available on the Jaguar Club of Southern Colorado website: If you are interested in participating in this review, please look over the By-Laws and submit any recommendations for Amendments to the Board of Directors via President@JagClub.org. Submissions for amendments must be received by the Board of Directors no later than 15 September, An amended set of by-laws for review will be published via and on the website by 5 October, Following final comments and review, the amended By-Laws will be submitted to the membership for votes no later than the 8 November, 2018 Board of Directors meeting. The results of the By-Laws review will be published on the JCSC Website no later than 1 December, JCSC Board of Directors Election The Jaguar Club of Southern Colorado Election for the 2019 Board of Directors will be held be held at the November 8 Board of Directors meeting. The Call for nominations will be sent out following the September 13 Board meeting. Ballots will be distributed via following the October meeting and the final vote count will be held at the November 8 Board meeting. 11

Pikes Peak Concours d Elegance and British Motoring Festival The 2018 Pikes Peak Concours d Elegance and the British Motoring Festival is less than two months away.

You will have the opportunity to view (and participate if you choose) a diverse selection of wheeled British history flavored with a large dose of Vintage.

12 Pikes Peak Concours d Elegance and British Motoring Festival The 2018 Pikes Peak Concours d Elegance and the British Motoring Festival is less than two months away. Set for Sunday, 30 September, this year s events will be held at Jaguar Land Rover Colorado Springs, in Motor City. You will have the opportunity to view (and participate if you choose) a diverse selection of wheeled British history flavored with a large dose of Vintage. If you own something British (vintage or not) this is the opportunity to show the rest of the community your gem from across the pond. Preparation for this show requires a lot of planning and the Jaguar Club of Southern Colorado Concours and Events Committees are putting all the pieces together to make this another outstanding event. All the requisite flyers, posters and forms will soon be available so YOU can start planning, too! The registration form is included here on pages 13 and 14. This year, the Saturday Cocktail Party and Dinner (29 September at Paninos on 8th St) and the Sunday Awards Dinner and Auction (Tap Traders on North Nevada Ave) will be open to all club members( RSVP required - Events@JagClub.org) 12

21 The jaguar club of new mexico The Jaguar Club of New Mexico will conduct their 2018 Concours d Elegance on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Santa Fe. The Concours will be held on the Plaza in Santa Fe on Saturday morning and the Awards Banquet will be held at the La Fonda on Saturday evening. Lodging arrangements are currently being developed and details will be announced soon. We ll keep you updated. 21
