IK SIT SIN KROUN: In March 2014, ouncil approved the new IK project. s part of this project, irst Street will be extended from Santa nita venue to Providencia venue to connect to the northern driveway of the IK site. ouncil has also renamed irst Street as IK Way between ngeleno venue and Providencia venue. ISUSSION: The new IK site will have two driveways connecting to the ity street network. IK Way will connect the northern driveway to Interstate ramps at ngeleno venue and Verdugo venue. The eastern driveway will form a new intersection with lmwood venue and San ernando oulevard. San ernando oulevard connects to Interstate ramps on lameda venue. IK Proposal IK has prepared an on-site signage plan to guide customers. See xhibit 1 for the signs proposed by IK. The plan contains 8 signs guiding exiting vehicles to the street network. These signs are detailed in the table below. The suggestions included modifying 4 signs and adding 2 signs to reinforce the use of IK Way for Interstate access. These suggestions are detailed in the table below as highlighted. See xhibit 2 for staff suggestions.
