Call to Order Chair Gateman called the Agricultural Service Board meeting to order at 8:08 am. Adoption of Agenda and Emergent Issues AG MOVED BY VICE CHAIR McLEAN that the agenda be adopted as presented. CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. Adoption of Minutes For the August 3, 2016 Agriculture Service Board Meeting AG MOVED BY MEMBER COCKWILL that the minutes of the August 3, 2016 meeting be adopted as presented. CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. Director of Agricultural Services Director Report AG MOVED BY MEMBER COCKWILL that the Director of Agricultural Services report be accepted as information. CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. Items for Action Foothills Forage & Grazing Association Funding Request AG MOVED BY MEMBER MARKERT that the Agricultural Service Board recommend that Council fund the Foothills Forage & Grazing Association $3,000 for CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. Purchase of Ranchworx Aerator AG MOVED BY MEMBER MARKERT that the Board recommend that Council purchase a 12' x 42" Pull-type Aerator with the 9.6 Bushel Hydraulic Seeder Package in the 2017 County Budget. CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. Alberta Farm Animal Care Funding Request AG MOVED BY MEMBER MARKERT that the Board recommend Council fund the Alberta Farm Animal Care $500 in CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY Agricultural Services Budget Review The Agricultural Service Board reviewed the presented budget and had no concerns.
