All bidders shall carefully note all of the deletions, changes, additions or clarifications included herein and be responsible for taking into account any changes that will affect their proposal. Please note the following: 1. UPS Inventory There were some problems with the printed version of the UPS Inventory pages of the original bid document. The revised UPS Inventories are attached to this addendum and available for download from the PA Turnpike Commission website. 2. Bonding Clarification Please note that bonding is not required for this request for quotation. Disregard Section I.C. BONDING of the Conditions and Instructions to Bidders. 3. Schedule of Prices Electronic versions of the Schedule of Prices in Excel format have been made available on the PA Turnpike Commission website. Bidders may not make any modifications by adding or deleting rows or columns to the schedule of prices. Modification of the price sheets may result in rejection of proposal. 4. Can you provide the serial numbers for the units manufactured by APC/MGE/Schneider Electric/Crucial Power Products? A1. Serial numbers have been added to the inventory sheet for the units manufactured by APC/MGE/Schneider Electric/Crucial Power Products. Serial numbers are unknown for the four units manufactured by Crucial Power Products. Where the serial numbers are unavailable or if additional information is required bidders may visit the sites to verify and/or gather equipment information required for bid development. Tolls will not be reimbursed. Q4. Are you requesting pricing for battery replacement for all units in every year? Typically a new battery will have a full factory warranty for 3 years. A4. Provide pricing for battery string replacement for all units in every year. As indicated in Specification Section 11.00, the vendor will be required to redeem the manufacturer s warranty on parts for all replacement batteries. In the event the batteries are no longer covered by the manufacturer s warranty, the vendor will be required to replace battery strings at the fees bid to replace them. Q5. What are the battery data for the Emerson/Liebert UPS unit (model GXT3-6000RT208) at the Route 29 (south bldg. ramp AB) Interchange 320? A5. There is one module consisting of 6 sealed batteries. The batteries are CSB batteries model HRL1234WF2. This battery information has been added to the inventory sheet. If additional information is required, bidders may visit the sites to verify and/or gather equipment information required for bid development.
