7 Advertisin Policies Effective November 2017 Corporate Sponsor Proram The SVC Corporate Sponsor Proram links oranizations interested in furtherin the use and development of vacuum and plasma deposition techniques for PVD processin with the information exchane resources of the Society. Many representatives from Corporate Sponsor companies are involved in the Technical Advisory Committees and the Standin Committees that shape the future focus of SVC. Each sponsor receives many benefits. A list of benefits for Corporate Sponsors is available on the SVC Website at: or/corporatesponsorproram. Corporate Sponsor membership dues are $1,100 for the first calendar year of application, and $550 per year thereafter. These dues include the personal annual membership for one Corporate Sponsor representative. If you are interested in discussin the SVC Corporate Sponsor Proram, contact us at or svcinfo@svc.or. SVC Preferred Placement Advertisin Policy This policy applies to the four-color ads on the inside front cover, opposite inside front cover, inside back cover, opposite inside back cover and outside back cover of the Bulletin and TechCon Exhibit Guide. As a membership oranization, the SVC strives to provide advertisin opportunities for members, exhibitors, and other companies in vacuum coatin and related sciences and technoloies. All requests for preferred placement must be made in writin. Requests are honored on a first-come, firstserved basis. If the preferred position is not available at the time of the request, the advertiser can submit a separate request for the same position for the followin year. Current advertisers should submit a written request to retain their preferred placements; this request can be honored only if there are no other requests pendin for the same space. The SVC cannot accept space reservations by telephone. Ad Specification for Print Publications Hih-resolution (300 dpi or reater) PDF files with all fonts embedded. Do not include any OPI (open prepress interface) imaes in the PDF they are rejected as low resolution proxy imaes and create problems! Color imaes must be saved in CMYK format. Do not supply color imaes in RGB format. If file size is larer than 12MB, do not send by . Disclaimer: Ads containin spot or Pantone colors will be converted to CMYK if time does not permit the advertiser to be contacted to resubmit the ad. SVC is not responsible for any discrepancies (such as incorrect color, size, or fonts), when SVC specifications are not followed. Ad Cancellations and Aency Discounts No cancellations will be accepted or refunds made after the closin date for each publication. Preferred Placement ad contracts cannot be cancelled. There is a 10% discount for two PRINT ad placements on the same order (see insertion order). There is a 15% discount for three PRINT ad placements on the same order.
