3 Power cables MOTION-CONNECT 00, 700 and 800 Asynchronous 6FX, 6FX8 and 6FX7 power cables, technical data The new MOTION-CONNECT 6FX and 6FX8 cables replace the fmer standard (6FX4) as well as perfmance cables (6FX2) and add the new 6FX7 power cables with 4 temperature leads especially designed f 1FN3 lear mot applications. MOTION-CONNECT meets the DESINA col requirements, ange jacket f servo and frequency controlled drive power cables and green jacket f measurement cables like encoder cables. The cost-effective 6FX standard cable is generally permanently routed while the perfmance 6FX8 cable can be universally used fixed as well as movg applications where the cable may be flered up to 10 million times (ce cross section 6 mm 2 ) durg their life cycle. Furtherme the perfmance cable 6FX8 has compared to the standard cable higher operatg temperature ratgs, significant better acceleration values and permissible travelg speeds, an creased oil resistance and is halogen / silicon-free. The 6FX, 6FX8 and 6FX7 cables are sold by the meter but can also be supplied as prefabricated cables (with mounted connects). The prefabricated cables with connects offer the followg advantages: The exact length can be dered to the meter. They are subject to extensive tests, thus ensurg outstandg quality. They are safe and reliable as they are optimally matched to the components which have to be connected. The savgs logistics, construction and purchasg reduce overall costs. Temp-S (shut-down) comprises three PTC thermist elements connected series located each of the three phase wdgs of the primary section. Temp-S is primarily used to reliably protect the mot agast overheatg. If Temp-S responds, then the drive must be quickly powered-down der to terrupt the primary section power supply from the drive converter, which can be done by usg the Siemens thermist mot protection unit 3RN1. Temp-F supplies an analog signal which is proptional to the temperature, and f a symmetrical current load of the three-phase wdgs, provides fmation about the average mot temperature. Termation technology, length measurg system The termation technology required f the length measurg scales f 1FN3 AC lear mots, essentially depends on the measurg scale type (cremental vs. absolute).
