7 Directions to TCD From Dublin Airport Dublin Airport (dublinairport.com) is situated to the north of the City Centre. The airport is not served by train so the only way to get to Trinity College and Dublin city centre, is via bus, taxi or private car. Travelling via taxi is recommended for convenience. Taxis are metered and expensive however. The fare to the city centre will cost approximately 25 with extra charges for each additional passenger and for carrying luggage. Dublin Buses, no. 16a, 41, 41b, 46x (semi-express), or 746 to the city centre. Dublin Bus Airlink no. 747 and 748 stop in O'Connell Street, approximately a 5 minute walk from Trinity. The fare is 6 one way. An Aircoach service runs 24 hours a day and stops outside the College; the fare is 7. The Aircoach is located just outside the Arrivals Halls at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. At Terminal 1, turn left immediately as you exit the terminal building. At Terminal 2, continue along the same level following the signs for buses and coaches, cross the footbridge, and then exit down the escalator on the left hand side. The Aircoach service can be identified from the following logo: From Heuston Station Heuston rail station serves the west of and is located directly west of Trinity College. The DART service does not extend to this part of the city so the best option is via bus, Luas (tram) or taxi. Heuston Station is served by several bus routes. The 67, 67a and 67X all serve the City Centre. Also, the 90 Bus to Bachelors Walk/ O'Connell Bridge and 92 Bus direct to TCD. The Luas red line can be taken to Abbey Street, 500 meters from Trinity College. From Connolly Station The simplest route to Trinity College for travelers arriving at Connolly Station is via the DART (train service). Simply take a southbound DART (any train destined for Pearse, Dun Laoghaire, Bray or Greystones) for two stops to Pearse Station. Pearse Station is just off the East End of the Trinity College Campus.
