3 10 C + 20 C Cut through the double-flap in the case of the ESSMANN Arcade rooftop classic plus Isotherm flow double-flap ESSMANN Arcade rooftop classic plus The ESSMANN double-flap for the arched arcade rooflight system classic plus (data sheet 3.1.3) consists of a 2-part circumferential thermally isolated buckling-resistant aluminium section frame. The integrated glazing is fitted stressfree in the profile system, so that thermal changes in length can be absorbed unhindered. Through the novel transom solution, this area can be de-watered optimally and the doubleflap can be set up synchronously. The double-flap has a dual, peripheral EPDM sealing system, through which an optimum flap sealing with the arcade rooftop is ensured. This sets new standards with regard to sealing tightness and noise protection. At the same time, the sealing system can compensate possible construction tolerances. The arcade rooftop glazing consists of polycarbonate hollow chamber plates or a combination of additional single glazings (see the table). Thanks to the very large number of glazing types, customised solution options are available for almost all application areas (for example, heat protection, noise protection, sunlight protection, hard roof ing, emission protection). The ESSMANN double-flap sys tem can be employed for natural smoke and heat exhausting with and without ventilation function or as a pure ventilation flap. Pneumatic as well as 48V NSHEs (data sheet and 4.3.4) with open/close function can be employed as NSHEs. Thanks to the novel flap design, all the flap sizes can be opened and locked on a stand-alone basis. In the case of the pneumatic NSHE, the ventilation function of the double flaps takes place via a spindle drive or air cylinder. The 48V NSHE has an integrated ventilation function, so that no additional drives are required.
