5 Export Performance Product in focus Product in Focus Juice (200989) The product of juices is added to any diet because it contains vitamins. Global imports are witnessing a high demand of around SR7 billion of juices in The Kingdom is witnessing the presence of several national factories that are witnessing a stage of growth and development and are working to use the best ingredients and the finest manufacturing centers for use in the production of juices. GA stats Economic Economy: overview Overview Core Market Oman has a relatively healthy economic and financial situation. However, oil revenues have decreased significantly since in recent years, leading to a strong increase in the country's public deficit (14.3% in 2017). The Sultanate of Oman has had extraordinary economic development since 2004, primarily due to the exploitation of its oil reserves. However, growth rates declined in recent years as a result of the drop in global oil prices, but also a slowdown in household consumption. The IMF expects a return to growth of 3.7% in 2018, stimulated by the diversification of the country s economy, through the expansion of the industrial and manufacturing sectors, numerous infrastructure projects (ports, airports, railroads) and a boom in tourism. The country's habit to frequently resort to international markets for its financing needs could be risky and several rating agencies have degraded the country's sovereign rating. Although hydrocarbons represent a financial windfall, the Sultanate possesses one of the weakest oil and gas reserves in the region: it is estimated that the oil reserves will dry out 45 years from now if new exploration-production techniques are not developed. To decrease its dependence on raw materials, Oman has established reforms to liberalise and diversify its economy in the framework of its '2020 Vision Plan', which aims to increase investment in the tourism, financial services and port activity sectors.
