3 Weekend overview Friday, 8 June 2018 Friday is for those entrants who wish to arrive early to catch up and register in a relaxed environment. 6.00pm to 9.00pm Meet and greet at the All Seasons Hotel where entrants can collect goodie bags and catch up with other entrants in the relaxed environment. Nibbles will be provided on the night. Saturday, 9 June am to 3pm - Show and Shine set up 6.30am to 8.30am Cars must be at the car park of the All Seasons by 6.30am to be put in order by 7.30am to travel in convoy groups to St Andrews Avenue. Cars will be ENTERING off MARKET St and directed to their positions by club members. All entrants are to be in place and set up by 9.00am as judging will start at 9.00am sharp. Due to road closures for our event vehicles in Show and Shine cannot be moved between these times. Bendigo CBD is a block walk away as is access to toilets, cafés and shop s. As is the Talking Tram tour that travels to the Central Deborah Gold Mine, Tram Depot, Joss House and past the Military Museum. The Arts Precinct & the Chines Precinct, Golden Dragon Museum are a short walk. Please enjoy exploring all Bendigo has to offer, there is so much to see and do (NB: these activities are at your own expense) Presentation dinner The All Seasons Hotel - during the evening trophies will be presented for the judged vehicles. Sunday, 10 June am to 3.30pm Entrants to meet in the car park at The All Seasons Hotel. The Run to be announced 1.30pm to 3.30pm Lunch will be provided. 4.00pm Official close of the event. NOTE: If you are staying on Sunday night please advise of numbers as we are organising an unofficial dinner and drinks. 3

5 The All Seasons hotel is holding the venue open for HD HR Holden Nationals bookings up until the end of January 2018 before they open it to the public bookings, so get in early and secure your booking. A discounted price will be given to all entrants that book before the cut-off date. Judging Judging is optional, Please fill in the correct details on the entry form to correspond with your categories. Vehicle displays If you wish to have a display around your car please advise us so we can make arrangements for you. You will have a maximum space of 4 meters by 6 meters and it must be roped off if you wish to display anything on the ground i.e. pictures or accessories. If you don't have a roped off area all display items must remain inside the vehicle at all times. 10 Judging Classes Un-restored Original This category is for vehicles that have had no more than minimal restoration. (Less than l 0%) This includes but not limited to: Repairs due to accident damage or panels replaced as a result of rust repairs with sections repainted. The vehicle should be in from the factory" configuration. Era "pillar-bolt" seat belts in 1966 vehicles are not considered a modification as they were commonly an option from the dealer. Engines should be a 149, 161, 179 or 186 red motor only (& derivatives - X2 & 186S). Other "Dealer fitted" mods can include Tilley stripes" (aftermarket extra side flashing commonly added by dealers to glitz up their vehicles), air conditioning, multi-tone paintwork. Restored Original This category is for original vehicles as above but fully restored or more than minimum restoration. This includes vehicles that have had a full respray. Engines should be a 149, 161, 179 or 186 red motor only (& derivatives - X2 & 186S). Era Sports This category is for vehicles modified with 1960"s era modifications including floor shift 3 speed manual / auto, sports steering wheel, mag wheels (13 & 14in only, 15in Volvo rims), engine mods - electronic ignition with external module (non-vb-k distributor), Speco or similar intake manifolds, triple su s, triple Stromberg's, era Holley's to 4bbl, era supercharger/ induction, era gauges, extractors, sports seats, gearbox upgrade to era gearboxes only up to 4 speeds (unless proof can be shown that gearbox was in an era vehicle). Also for HD"s with HR front end panels or vice verso. Engines should be 149 to 202 red motors. (Pre Commodore) Modified This category is for vehicles running 149 to 202 Red, Blue & Black motors with modifications above Era sports. Modern wheels, turbo, supercharger (non era), 5 speed gearbox or later auto. Highly Modified This category is for vehicles with on engine or driveline modifications other than Modified class, such as on RB series engine swap,v6 or V8 of any breed. It is also for vehicles that have had major body modifications like mini- tubbed, Chassis, including one-tonne configuration, or any major chassis modifications. 10

11 SHOW CAR JUDGING CRITERIA Below is a guide for you to use in prepping your car for the show. Whether you are in an original, restored or modified class, Street or Elite, these are the things the judges are looking for. Most importantly, clean every bit of the car, and wax, polish, prepare, vacuum etc so it best represents you and your car. This list is not all of the things the judges may consider, but it should guide you in your efforts. Exterior Quality What is the quality of the bodywork and point? If the bodywork has been altered, has it been done well. Is the finish just shiny or deep and lustrous. Is the paint smooth or orange peeled? Any overspray y, runs, ripples, dents, chips etc. Are seams smooth and straight? All panels aligned? Any doors sagging? Bumpers on straight? Glass squeaky clean? All cars should have a perfect cleaning and waxing. Interior Quality Is everything in good condition or truly excellent? Are the seals perfect and clean or ripped and dirty? Is the headliner intact and tight or drooping and baggy? Are the carpets clean and new looking or dirty and worn? Have modifications, such as gauges or aftermarket seats, been hacked in, or are they professional looking? Is the wiring under the dash tied up or hanging down? Are the sun visors in good shape? Door panels? Every piece of the interior should be perfectly clean and prepared; there should be no dirt under the floor mats or junk under the seats. Look at the boot or hatch. It should be prepared to the some perfect state as the interior. Mechanical Quality Does everything look neat and well put together? Is the quality of the workmanship good or great? Are there special features that deserve points? Are the systems securely mounted? Do the systems work together harmoniously, i.e. do they appear to flow into one another or are they just shoved somewhere? Is the exhaust system solid, or about to fall off? Are there any fluid leaks? Is the engine comportment perfectly clean and detailed? 11
