2 January 2015 Dear Sir or Madam, It is my pleasure to write you and extend a formal invitation for participation in the Lie s International Taekwondo Tournament 2015, which will be held on June 13 th 2015 at the Congreshall in Paramaribo, Suriname. We are very excited to host this tournament, which has grown to the biggest Taekwondo tournament in Suriname. This year s event will be the 8th since All expenses covering transportation from the airport to the hotel and to the Congreshall on competition day will be taken care of by the organization. On the day of competition the teams will also receive free breakfast and lunch with compliments of the organization. Roundtrip airfare, hotel and meals are responsibility of your team. We will try to make everything as affordable as possible. The entry fee for the competition is $20 per fighter. All fees must be paid before the start of the tournamnent. In competition the electronic body protectors will be used to make the whole a fair and fluent day of competition. Attached is a list with the weight divisions and detailed information. We will try as much as possible to work according to the WTF divisions, but there is also a possibility for eventual adjustments for more divisions. There will be a junior and a senior division for both male and female participants. We wish you safe travels to Suriname and good luck at the tournament. 7 Rules of Competition: Standard WTF rules apply. In competition the Daedo Truescore system will be used. Preliminary Rounds: 2 rounds of 1 1/2 minutes Final Rounds: 3 rounds of 1 1/2 minutes Headkicks are allowed in all divisions. However, in the divisions under 12 years, both coaches should agree on the permission of headkicks. If an agreement cannot be reached, headkicks will not be permitted in that match. Note: The divisions for those under 12 years of age will consist of 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th and 5 th place prizes. All other divisions will only consist of 1 st 2 nd and 3 rd place prizes.

Is located in the heart of the activity centre in Paramaribo. For the tournament we have received special offers. Please announce your selection to us so we can forward the costs to you and make reservations. The tournament will be held at the Congreshall which is located across Independence square, near the presidential palace. Behind the hall is the boulevard where you can take a nice walk and enjoy the fresh air.
