1 BY THE NUMBERS 67 The total number of 2014 OTR Conference Sponsors, which was the most in its 59-year history. Each sponsor received a tabletop display at the Kick-Off Gathering sponsored by Double Coin Tires on Wednesday evening and the Networking Social on Friday afternoon sponsored by Fuller Brothers, Inc. 580 The record breaking attendance at this year s Conference which included representatives from 35 states and 18 countries. The number of delegates increased by 20% over last year and provided for extraordinary networking opportunities. $4,000 The amount of money raised for the Political Action Committee (TirePAC) at the OTR Conference. Fundraisers included selling squares on the PAC Board, mulligans at the golf tournament and a silent auction. Net proceeds from the fundraising activities were over $4, % The percentage of participants that rated the productivity and value of the OTR Conference as excellent. 4The number of flavors of homemade ice cream that were being churned and frozen on the spot during the Welcome Reception which took place on the beach on Thursday evening and was sponsored by Bridgestone Commercial Solutions.

2 29 The number of delegates that won The Rookie movie DVD s or baseballs autographed by Jim The Rookie Morris, this year s motivational speaker who was sponsored by BKT Tires. Morris hit a home run as he inspired the audience with his Cinderella story of his meteoric rise from 35-year old high school teacher to major league pitcher. 5The number of manufacturers, including BKT Tires, Bridgestone Commercial Solutions, Double Coin Tires, Michelin North America, Inc. and Yohohama Tire Corporation, who had representatives participating in the Tire Manufacturers Panel. This session was moderated by Bob Ulrich, Editor, Modern Tire Dealer. 144 The number of golfers who attempted to win a Lexus in the Hole-in-One contest sponsored by BKT Tires, who was also the beverage cart sponsor. 56 The number of people still on the dance floor at closing time for the Friday Night Finale sponsored by Michelin North America, Inc. 9,235 The number of miles one delegate traveled each way from Quezon City, Phillipines to Marco Island, Florida to attend the Conference. 17 The number of boats it took to carry all the participants in the Fishing Tournament. 68 o The average temperature during breakfast al fresco each morning which was sponsored by Yokohama Tire Corporation.

3 IT S A WRAP! The Tire Industry Association s 59th Annual Off-the-Road Tire Conference held in Marco Island, Florida from February 19 22, 2014 was a tremendous success with record-breaking attendance. Highlights of the conference program included Tim Easter with Yokohama Tire Corporation presenting the OTR trends for 2014 and the Manufacturer Keynote Presentation given by Wade Gatlin with Bridgestone Commercial Solutions. This year s motivational speaker, sponsored by BKT Tires, Jim The Rookie Morris, hit a home run as he inspired the audience with his story.

4 Networking opportunities included breakfast each day sponsored by Yokohama Tire Corporation, the Kick-off Gathering sponsored by Double Coin, the Welcome Reception sponsored by Bridgestone Commercial Solutions, the Networking Social sponsored by Fuller Brothers and the Friday Night Finale sponsored by Michelin North America, Inc. This year s numbers were record breaking all around. The general session programs were standing room only and the three leisure programs, which included a golf tournament, a water adventure and a fishing tournament, all sold out. The increase in delegates made for incredible networking opportunities that you can t find anywhere else in the OTR segment of the industry, said TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield.
