When properly assembled and maintained, this product will provide years of reliable service. These instructions include helpful hints and important information needed to safely assemble and properly maintain the kit components. Please read these instructions before you begin. If you have any questions during the assembly, contact Customer Service at for assistance. SFETY PRECUTIONS Wear eye protection. Wear gloves when handling metal parts. Use a portable GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) when working with electric power tools and cords. REQUIRED TOOLS The following list identifies the main tools needed to assemble and install the breathable wall light trap. dditional tools may be needed. Tape measure and marker. Variable speed drill (cordless with extra batteries works best). Small hammer and gloves. Level (length depends on kit dimensions). 7/16" wrenches and a socket set containing 7/16" deep-well socket. SSEMLY PROCEDURE Following the instructions as presented will help ensure proper assembly. Steps outlining assembly process are as follows: 1. Verify that all parts are included in the shipment. Notify customer service for questions or concerns. 2. Read these instructions and all additional documentation included with the shipment before you begin. 3. Gather the tools and assistants. ssistants are needed to lift and hold assembly when attaching to building frame. 4. ssemble kit components. Read this document to determine what pages apply to your kit. 5. Read the care and maintenance information. CRE ND MINTENNCE Proper care and maintenance is important. Check the following items periodically to ensure breathable wall light trap components are secure and functioning properly. Check all fasteners to verify they remain tight. Never climb or stand on any part of the light trap and its frame components. Ensure nothing blocks either side of light trap. For replacement or missing parts, call for assistance. 3 Getting Started: asic Kit Descriptions and Components Different kits include different components. Use the information on this page to identify which procedures apply to your breathable wall light trap kit. PICTORIL PRTS GUIDE TTENTION: Kit numbers that end with the letter (e.g., ) include an assembled light trap. This guide describes the assembly of these breathable wall light traps: & FG304 1/4" Hex olt FME50 1/4" Flat Washer F4484 Tek Screw FL01 1/4" Hex Nuts FM36 1/4" Split Lock Washer GENERL SSEMLY STEPS 1. ssemble vane kit components. (ll kits: Procedure 1. Does not apply if kit number ends with letter.) 2. ssemble vane kit frame. (ll kits: Procedure 2. 4 ssembly Instructions: Vane Kit Components 1 SSEMLE LIGHT TRP VNE KIT COMPONENTS TTENTION: If kit number ends with letter, light trap is preassembled. Continue by attaching light trap to desired frame. 4. Slide a tube spacer onto each rod and add another vane. 5. Repeat Step 4 until all vanes are used. Gather vane kit components. Review part descriptions for additional information. Complete these steps: 1. Unpack vanes keeping them in the same order as packed. 2. Place one (1) rod cap nut firmly on one end of a rod. Use a nut driver (or similar tool) and a hammer to seat cap on rod. Repeat to install a cap on one end of each remaining rods. 6. fter installing all vanes, install a cap nut on the end of each rod to secure final vane. 3. With assistance, stand rods upright with cap nuts at the bottom. Place one vane over all rods. Vane Spacer TTENTION: efore installing cap nut, determine if a 3/8" spacer is needed. Vanes should be tight once final cap nut is installed. Cap Nut 7. Finally, turn assembled vane kit so vanes are vertical. 8. Continue by assembling vane kit frame. See Procedure Revision date:

5 2 SSEMLE Complete these steps: ssembly Instructions: Vane Kit Frame LIGHT TRP VNE KIT FRME Gather parts: 1. Use diagram below to attach aluminum angles to top and bottom frame panels first. Tighten all bolts. FG304 1/4" hex bolts FL01 1/4" hex nuts FME50 1/4" flat washers FM36 1/4" lock washers F4482 1" Tek Screws Light trap frame top/bottom panels (2) Light trap frame side panels (2) Light trap aluminum angle (sides) (2) Light trap aluminum angle (top/bottom) (2) Light trap corner stabilizer brackets (4) Sample Panel FG304 bolt (1) FL01 hex nut (1) FM36 lock washer (1) FME50 flat washers (2) luminum ngle NOTE: luminum angle for top and bottom panels will extend beyond panel edges as shown in diagram above and to the right (). 2. Next attach aluminium angle to side panels. Tighten all bolts except those at each end (). 3. ssemble frame as shown, tighten side panel bolts (), and install corner brackets.
