6 SSEMLY INSTRUCTIONS 1 EE EF EF Note: Two people required for all assembly steps. Separate the 2 different types of castors: 2 Locking Castors (EE) and 2 Regular Castors (EF). EE ED Front Note: Regular Castors (EF) need to be assembled to the front of the ottom Shelf (ED), and Locking Castors (EE) need to be assembled to the back of the ottom Shelf (ED), as shown in image. Upside down view ack ttach the Regular Castor (EF) to the front of the ottom Shelf (ED), and use the Castor Pin (#14) to secure and tighten. Repeat for remaining 3 castors (EE & EF) Close Up X 1 2 Ensure that the Locking Castors (EE) are firmly locked in the ON position before continuing. ssemble the Left Side Panel (E) and the Right Side Panel (EC), to the ottom Shelf (ED). 7 SSEMLY INSTRUCTIONS 3 + THIS STEP REQUIRES 3 PEOPLE. DO NOT TTEMPT LONE. EXTREMELY HEVY! Position the Top Lid ssembly and urner ox ssembly ( & ) onto the Cart ssembly (C), as shown. 9 SSEMLY INSTRUCTIONS 6 Left side shelf assembly TIP: Do not tighten until all hardware is in place. D a. Mount the Left Side urner Side Shelf (D and D) onto the two support brackets, located on the left, upper side panel of the urner ox (). Front, left side view D b. ssemble the Left Side urner Side Shelf (D and D) to the upper side panel of the urner ox (), by positioning hardware through the interior of the urner ox (), as shown in figure. 2 2 D D 1 View inside burner box TIP: Ensure that the rubber side of the rubberized washer makes contact with the burner box. Complete the Left Side urner Side Shelf ssembly (D and D) by connecting the side shelf, the rear of the urner ox side panel (), and the Upper ack Panel (K), as shown in figure D. 10 SSEMLY INSTRUCTIONS 7 a. Remove the hardware that is pre-assembled to the Side urner Valve (DE). DE D DF ssemble the Side urner Valve (DE) to the Left Side Shelf Fascia (D), using the hardware removed, as shown in figure. b. ssemble the Side urner Control Knob (#13) to the Side urner Valve (DE). DE 13 D 13 X 1 8 a. Position the Side urner (DG) through the opening in the Left Side urner Drip Pan (DD). DG DD 8

11 SSEMLY INSTRUCTIONS 8 b. Make sure that the Side urner (DG) engages the Side urner Valve (DE). ttach the Wing Nut (#10) to the Side urner (DG), as shown in figure. DE Left side view DG DG X 1 c. ttach the end of the Side urner Electrode Wire (DH) to the underside of the Side urner Electrode (DG), as shown. Ensure that the wire is pushed in firmly. Mount the Right Side Shelf (DJ and DK) onto the two support brackets, located on the right, upper side panel of the urner ox (). 13 SSEMLY INSTRUCTIONS 10 + attery - DK Electronic Ignition ssembly a. Remove the Ignition attery Cover (CF2) and the plastic nut from the Electronic Ignition ssembly (CF1). CF2 Plastic Nut Underneath right side shelf CF1 b. Position the Electronic Ignition ssembly (CF1) through the opening in the Right Side Shelf Fascia (DK) and secure using the plastic nut. c. Insert one battery into the battery compartment (CF1) with the positive end facing outward, as shown. Secure using the Ignition utton (CF2). * attery not included. CF1 DK Underneath right side shelf DK CF1 DH d. Insert the Electrode Set, Main urner Wire (CG) and the Side urner Electronic Wire (DH) into the Electronic Ignition ssembly (CF1) as shown. Ensure that the wires are pushed in firmly. Note: oth wire connectors are the same. CG C Underneath right side shelf 11

17 SSEMLY INSTRUCTIONS 14 E a. ssemble the Right Door ssembly (EH), to the ottom Shelf (ED) by inserting the fixed pin (bottom of door) into the hole provided (figure ). EC EH ED EH ED Close up, bottom of door E b. ssemble the top of the Door ssembly (EH) to the Door Support Rail (E), by pressing in the door support pin and aligning with the hole located on the top right corner of the door (figure C). EH TIP: Use a paint scraper to press-in the support pin, while the second person aligns the door. The support pin will lock into position when the door is assembled correctly. C c. Repeat steps a, and b for the Left Door ssembly (EG). Close up, top of door 15

18 SSEMLY INSTRUCTIONS TTENTION: YOUR MODEL includes the CONVERTILE VLVE SYSTEM. If you would like to convert your Q from PROPNE to NTURL GS, the following kit is required Convertible Valve System Natural Gas Conversion Kit - product number: (available at Canadian Tire) efore completing steps 15 to 17, follow the steps outlined in the CONVERTILE VLVE SYSTEM instruction manual that accompanied the kit. 15 G Position the Flame Tamers for Main urner (G) and oost urner (H) into the urner ox (). 19 SSEMLY INSTRUCTIONS 16 Place the Cooking Grates (I) into the urner ox (). I I 17 J Insert the two small positioning rods of the Warming Rack (J) into the rear panel of the urner ox (). 17

20 SSEMLY INSTRUCTIONS 18 For Propane Model Only a. ttach the Regulator coupling nut (C) to the LP cylinder valve. C b. Position the 20 lb propane tank onto the ottom Shelf (ED), and secure using the bolt (already attached) located on the underside of the ottom Shelf (ED), as shown in figure C. 21 SSEMLY INSTRUCTIONS 19 HOW TO CONVERT YOUR Q TO NTURL GS This barbecue was sold PROPNE REDY, if you wish to run your barbecue on Natural Gas you must purchase the Natural Gas Conversion Kit sold at Canadian Tire, product number: IMPORTNT Make sure conversion kit packaging has the following symbol on it: TM 19

23 CUSTOMIZE YOUR RECUE Your barbecue comes with TWO DDITIONL SETS OF EZELS! Follow these instructions if you would like to change your bezel color to gray or electric blue! 01 Choose your color from the Custom ezel Kit (F5). X 1 X 5 02 Remove Control Knobs (CC) from the Control Panel (CH) and Side Shelf Fascia (D). 21

24 CUSTOMIZE YOUR RECUE 03 SIDE URNER CONTROL PNEL IMPORTNT: CHNGE 1 EZEL T TIME. Remove the bezel hardware (left and right screw) as shown. Put hardware aside. Unscrew, but DO NOT REMOVE the side burner valve hardware (top and bottom screw). Turn bezel clockwise slightly, to remove. C Position new bezel on side burner valve hardware, and turn counter-clockwise. Tighten hardware. D ssemble bezel hardware, removed in step 3. E 22

25 CUSTOMIZE YOUR RECUE 04 MIN CONTROL PNEL IMPORTNT: CHNGE 1 EZEL T TIME. Unscrew, but DO NOT REMOVE the valve hardware (top and bottom screw). Turn bezel clockwise slightly, to remove. C Position new bezel on valve hardware. D Turn counter-clockwise. Tighten hardware. E Repeat steps 4 to 4E to change the remaining bezels. 23

26 CUSTOMIZE YOUR RECUE 05 ssemble Control Knobs (CC), removed in Step 2, back to Control Panel (CH) and Side Shelf Fascia (D). 24

27 CUSTOMIZE YOUR RECUE 06 Remove Thermometer (D), Thermometer ezel (E), and hardware from Top Lid ssembly (). Put hardware aside. 07 ssemble Thermometer (D) and new Thermometer ezel (E) back to Top Lid ssembly (), using hardware removed in Step 6. 25

28 CUSTOMIZE YOUR RECUE 08 Remove Lid Handle () and Lid Handle ezels (C) from Top Lid ssembly (). Put hardware aside. TTENTION E CREFUL NOT TO DROP HRDWRE. 09 ssemble Lid Handle () and new Lid Handle ezels (C), back to Top Lid ssembly (), using hardware removed in Step 8. 26
