2 Illustration Component Test Procedure Results Oven light socket Remove one wire from receptacle and test resistance of terminals. Indicates continuity with bulb screwed in. Measure voltage at oven light Rocker switch Measure continuity of switch positions: Closed Open Gas valve Disconnect wiring to valve. Measure resistance on bake circuit. Measure resistance on broil circuit. NOTE: There are no field adjustments on the safety valve Pressure regulator Verify gas pressure (WCP). If on LP service, verify proper gas supply conversion Oven thermostat Verify selector cartridge is set to the proper gas (LP or Natural). Set to higher than actual temperature valve Verify gas is supplied. 120 VC, see wiring diagram for terminal identification. If no voltage is present at oven light, check wiring or light switches. Continuity, if not replace. Infinite, if not replace. llow 60 seconds for gas valve to open. Continuity, If not replace. Continuity, If not replace. Do not attempt to open valve with 120 VC. 5 Natural 10 LP/propane 14 maximum supply NOTE: There are no field adjustments. Heater pilot will envelope temperature responsive element and burner will light within 60 seconds. Clean flame at burner. Orifice adjusted for Natural or LP Spark 90 switch Test for voltage at terminals. Disconnect wiring and check for continuity in LITE position Thermostat switch / Disconnect switch leads. valve switch ttach meter leads to switch. Measure for resistance. Switch in LITE position. Switch in any position except LITE position Top surface burner Verify gas is supplied. 120 VC in LITE position Continuity in LITE position. Continuity Infinite Clean flame not blowing or soft / lazy. Check for obstructions or contamination in ports Pilot assembly Verify pilot selector cartridge is set to the proper gas (LP or Natural) LH RH Opening RH LH Oven door hinge roiler door hinge Set thermostat to higher than actual temperature. Carefully open the hinge fully, and insert a wooden dowel or screwdriver bit into opening. Remove top and bottom screws securing hinge. Slide hinge top towards rear of unit and guide hinge out through frame opening or storage drawer. Replace hinge if hinge does not operate properly. Constant pilot flame. Heater pilot flame envelopes temperature responsive element.! CUTION Do not place hands in hinge area when oven door is removed. Hinge can snap closed and pinch hands or fingers Clock timer Verify voltage is present at the input and output terminals. June RT Rev. 2

4 Converting from Natural Gas to LP Gas Converting Type 2 Pressure Regulator for Use with LP/Propane 1. Remove pressure regulator cap with a wrench. 2. Reverse pressure regulator cap. Cap must show LP. 3. Place pressure regulator cap on pressure regulator and tighten. Exposes 2 screws on burner control panel. 2. Remove 2 screws from burner control panel. Panel drops slightly after screws are removed. 3. Grasp bottom of burner control panel, gently lift and pull out panel until clear of burner valve stems. fter burner control panel clears valve stems, continue to roll panel until free from range. Set aside. Gas valve and orifice hood are visible after burner control panel is removed. 4. While facing range front, turn orifice hoods counterclockwise 1½ to 2 turns or until snug. Use ½ inch open end or 90 offset open end wrench. Do not over tighten orifice hoods. If orifice hoods are over tightened, gas supply can be cut off or orifice hoods can strip. 5. 5 Converting Oven urner for Use with LP\Propane 1. Open broiler door and remove broiler rack, pan, and grid. 2. Through rectangular hole on rear of broiler cavity, turn orifice hood (tighten) clockwise when facing front of range, 1½ to 2 turns or until snug. Do not overtighten orifice hoods. Turn the selector screw on oven thermostat so the pointer is towards LP. 5. Reverse steps 1 3 to replace control panel and knobs. 3. Open air shutter fully. Converting Oven Thermostat for Use with LP\Propane 1. Remove all (5) control knobs from range. Exposes 2 screws on burner control panel. 2. Remove 2 screws from burner control panel. Panel drops slightly after screws are removed. 3.
