The Klimaflex line of products is designed for HVC applications, fulfilling the strict requirements for housings of air conditioning, ventilation and heating equipment, especially with insulated doors or panel designs. It includes components that are used in different systems or modules that cover all functions for proper operation of a complete HVC system: Latching Hinge Inspection Window NEW DEVELOPMENTS The Latching Hinge with compression function combines handle and hinge in one product. Doors can be opened to the right or left - or may be completely removed. See pages /5, 23. 4 MOE FUNCTIONLITY UNLOCK 1 The pivot handle is secured in the hollow bracket. The door opening is initiated by unlocking the handle with a tool or optional key (non-locking version available). The handle then moves by itself through spring action into the unlocked position, while the latch is still shut. LTCHING HINGE 2 DECOMPESS s the handle flips up, the decompression is introduced with a small gap in the door opening, while the latching element remains in the latched position. The internal air pressure can escape but the door is prevented from swinging open uncontrollably. 3 UNBOLT By turning the handle the cam of the closure turns to the open position. The handle is released from the frame- DECIDE FO YOUSELF! mounted hardware. The door can now swing open safely. 2 The Latching Hinge combines three important functions for access to an HVC system: 1. Opening and closing 2. Hinge function 3. Compression (up to 6 mm) The Latching Hinge serves as a lock, which can also function as a hinge - and vice versa! Further informationen: see page 9 (Catalogue page 2-317b) The multi-function Latching Hinge makes it possible to open, swivel or completely remove a door or access panel using the same hardware. The frame-mounted part of the Latching Hinge functions as a stable pivot point for the hinge function. When all Latching Hinges are open at once, the door or lid can be removed completely. OPEN The handle is now used to open and position the door in the desired position. With all Latching hinges open at once, the door can be removed and put aside. 3

K2 adjustable roller cam: see page (Catalogue page 2-315e) LTCHING SYSTEM FO HVC PPLICTIONS: ESY INSTLLTION MODUL CONSTUCTION K2 The Klimaflex latching system is designed for HVC applications and meets the LT and VDI 6022 requirements for heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment housings with insulated doors. Thermal separation of metal components is achieved with plastic elements. Thickness: Class L1 - L3 possible depending on the version. Different components can be put together to form an assembly for the interior of the door. Important for pressurized systems is the safety catch. The enclosure opens in two stages by first releasing excess pressure, then allowing the door to be opened safely. Options include components for multi-point latching and interior opening handles for walkin facilities (over 160 cm internal height). ll components can be combined with one another. If necessary the compilation can be changed at the place of installation. With door in open position, the smart quick-release function allows for complete door removal and door attachment, without the need for any tool. The frame part is the same as for the "Compression Latching Hinge" (page 3-155). This makes it possible whenever needed to switch from a left swing to a right swing door, and vice versa, when this hinge is used in combination with the "Compression Latching Hinge" (page 3-155). With this setup door can also be removed completely. Universal right and left mounting with 180º opening angle. Surface mounted on frame and door with rivets or screws. Upon request, the frame part can be supplied with other widths and offsets between 0-25 mm. The door part is prepared to display your logotype with a simple change in the moulding tool. When the screw is turned with a torx-bit (not included) expanding "legs" are engaged and fix the door skins from the inside of the door. You can wait until the last minute adding the handle on the inside or outside - and you are free to add a rod link or safety catch with no changes to the latching unit.
