Fllwing the same frmat as ur drives f 2016, the drive will begin with a scial evening at Sudbury n Friday and end with a scial at Huntingdn n Saturday, allwing Members frm acrss East Anglia t pp by and say hell t the Club and ther reginal GRRC Members. Our aim frm these events is t get like-minded Members tgether t enjy their cars n sme f the best rads and mst beautiful areas f the UK. With this in mind, we have suggested a rute which we believe explres sme f the finest rads thrugh Sufflk and Nrflk, but it is very much up t yu hw t make the mst f the day. There are far t many quaint twns and wnderful rutes t explre thrughut East Anglia, but by using the guide belw, we hpe yu will be able t tailr the day, in the knwledge that there is a grup f like-minded GRRC members n the adventure with yu. We have als built in plenty f extra time t allw Members t take phts and have rest stps alng the way. We will start the weekend with a Friday night scial at the Mill Htel, Sudbury. This quaint cnverted water mill is situated n the banks f the River Stur. The htel is ideally situated fr explring Sudbury and the surrunding areas further. The GRRC team will be meeting in the Bar area fr ur evening scial and this will run between hrs. Rms are available at the Mill Htel fr Members, and we wuld advise Members t cntact the receptin team directly t bk a rm see accmmdatin n hw t bk. Dinner arrangements are t be made by Members independently and this can be arranged directly with the Htel s restaurant and bar by cntacting, (01787) Reservatins are recmmended as the Htel is pen t the public as well as Htel residents. We will lk t start ur Saturday drive bright and early, meeting at the Mill Htel frm 0830hrs and setting ff n later than 0900hrs. This will prvide us ample time t drive thrugh sme f the beautiful pen rads heading nrth twards Nrflk, winding thrugh quaint twns including Lng Melfrd, Lavenham and Hardingham. During this mrning rute, we have suggested a cffee stp at The Ldge, Nrth Tuddenham. Depending n yur final rute this is abut half-way thrugh the mrning leg. Frm here the grup will travel nrthwards again t Wells-next-the-Sea fr a spt f lunch at Hlkham Hall s Café nestled in the grunds f the fantastic Hall itself. After lunch, we will head suth-west twards King s Lynn befre meandering dwn t Huntingdn where the drive will cnclude with a well-deserved stp at The Bramptn Mill, Huntingdn. Frm Mill t Mill, ur drive will cnclude with a scial at this cnverted cuntry pub situated n the River Great Ouse. Running between hrs. Members are invited t cngregate and share stries abut the trip as well as meet ther Members frm the lcal area that might want t jin us ver a drink r tw befre heading hme.
