3 HYUNDAI WIA MACHINE TOOL 2 3 Compact Design of Advanced Technology Vertical Machining Center for the future FD Series FD Series are designed for the high productivity with the high precision, high speed, and precision accuracy. The column moving design with the integral 180 turning pallet table(dual table) allows operator load/unload or setup work pieces on another pallet while machining on the other pallet for the high productivity.

In addition, the precision of processing has been improved by enlarging the width of column, and the heat transformation by heat occurrence minimized as it is designed as heat symmetric column structure. Pretensioned & Double Anchored Ball Screw In order to remove the expansion and BACKLASH of transmission axis occurred due to temperature increases when ball screw is transmitted, the bisection has been fixed with the precise 4 column of angular thrust bearing and the pressure applied. In addition, it makes precise axis transmission possible as it is directly connected to servo motor. Forwarding System Thru Servo Motor Each axis has its ball screw directly connected to a highly reliable digital servo motor, and ensures its forwarding precision. LM Guide Head's guide adapted with LM guide, is designed to provide excellent cutting performance, also manufactured to transfer with high speed. Especially, Z axis guide is desinged that guides is suited to features by models, make a full preparation for transfer safety.
5 HYUNDAI WIA MACHINE TOOL 4 5 Main Spindle Direct Type Spindle (F500D/600D OP) Main spindle motor is directly connected to main spindle by high speed and high precision of coupling, high precision and high speed process is performed with rapid acceleration and reduction, without back lash. Especially, special high speed coupling applied to main spindle of this machine, minimizes the vibration and heat transfer of motor and can realize a stable, high precision and high speed of process. Belt Type Spindle Spindle reliability is increased by applying the tool unclamping unit that minimizes the force applied to spindle bearing. In addition, provides excellent processing performance with powerful 287N.m by adapting AC spindle motor which realizes 15 kw of main spindle in the 8,000 r/min of main spindle. 6 Powerful Machining Center by High Accurate Mechanism Peripheral Device ATC & Magazine Magazine FD Series of tool magazine is independently installed from column to bed, provide precision processing by separating the head from vibration, occuring during tool magazine run. In addition, the tool can be arranged so that the workpiece can be smoothly processed due to 24 tools. ATC Tool change unit (ATC) using high precision of combined cam, applies randomly selective method on the both directions, can controll so that the tool can be more faster selected. HYUNDAI WIA will lead for this This Catalogue made by recycle paper MQL : Minimal Quantity Lubrication Coolant (Wet Cutting) Lubricating Cooling Chip Disposal Minimal Mist Oil Compressed Air MQL Cutting (SemiDry) Energy Saving Power Consumption Monitor MQL is an echofriendly product responding to Kyoto Protocol, and capable of processing with small coolant (2~20CC/H). The use of MQL has not introduce condensation and generate dust powder even in processing with extra high speed. It also penetrates up to the tip of tools, which reduces heat generation and makes excellent lubrication. (Tools life and cutting speed are increased more than 1.5 to 3 times) ECO System Oil Skimmer Accumulated power consumption of servo motor is displayed on OP screen, thru which you can determine real time power consumption. Economy Lubrication System It is a device recovering lubricant mixed in coolant, which extends coolant life and provides comfortable working environment and operating cost saving. Mist Collector Mist of fine particles (1~10 μm ) generated from processing will contaminate working area and ambient air, and if inhaled to human body, cause occupational disease, and also reduction of machines life and productivity.
