From here, Charles James Marshall, a joiner by trade, had the desire and drive to forge ahead in the belief that one day he could be Scotland s largest trailer manufacturer. As they say, the rest is history. Nearly sixty years later and with well over 0,000 units sold to date, we can take pride from this achievement and build upon this success for the future. Today the family business continues in the very capable hands of Charles Richard Marshall. The Managing Director since 9, Charles has successfully steered the business through the tough years of BSC and foot and mouth while continuing to update and modernize the business to meet the challenges of today s market. At Marshalls we aim to create a fusion of practicality and design across our comprehensive range of machinery while giving value for money. This ethos remains the bedrock of our success. The next generation is extremely keen to enter the family business and will no doubt put their own individual stamp on it when the time comes. Both Charles Peter and David are busy learning the ropes during their holidays from University and Agricultural College but hope to be actively involved in the daily running of the business in the not too distant future. Effectively this is any one of our QM models with four extras added, giving you that little more attention to detail. In addition, there are a few extras that we supply free of charge, when your trailer becomes a TU, namely; personalised transfers, brass name plates and a few other touches that have been well appreciated. The engineering used within it s entire construction has without a doubt been proven to out-perform all competition on the market. A tall order but one we have certainly achieved! The Vesuvius Vantage requires a daily visual check of the gearbox oil level and greasing by means of five remote points. Quite simply that is all that is required. Surely this is a benefit for any practical user.
