2 AGRONIC slurry tankers are engineered and manufactured for demanding use. The structure of the tanker is made out of Fe 52C steel. The plate thicknesses are 4-6 mm depending on location. The structure is very strong but still light weight. Strong internal frame rails run fore to aft in the tank. The tank is smooth inside; no pockets promoting corrosion. Six-blade, stainless steel shaft, double row roller bearing spreader pump installed in the front of the tank. Pump diameter is 500 mm and width 150 mm. Discharge and mixing pipes have140 mm diameter. All tankers have pivoting, suspended swing bogies, front axle with brakes. Three axle tankers have power steered axles. The axles are coupled, giving excellent off-road capability. If one axle dips, it moves weight to the others. Power-steering makes the tanker follow the tractor well, even during reverse. AGRONIC Slurry Tankers Low centre of gravity, unrivalled power. AGRONIC tankers have a low centre of gravity. The lower tank drops the centre of gravity exceptionally low. Even with a full tank you can drive without worries in slopes or on uneven fields. The ground clearance is still an adequate 40 cm. Depending on size, the tank is equipped with 2, 3 or 4 twin splash plates. Tank interior is epoxy coated; exterior is sandblasted and polyurethane painted. A clear coat improves the paint life and ease of cleaning. All tankers have radial tyres as standard. Nokian ELS radial tyres have 15% less rolling resistance and 20% less surface pressure than traditional cross-ply tyres. The tyre pressures can be kept low giving a smooth ride and keeping the thread patterns clean. Maximum speed is 65 km/h. The hose spreader and disc injector as well as the side mounted pump boom can easily be installed on other brands of tankers.

3 AGRONIC Slurry Tankers now available with crab steering AGRONIC Slurry Tankers are now available with crab steering. In a suspended axle both axles are steered. With the crab steering system the tanker can be steered to follow its own track on either side of the tractors tracks, decreasing soil compaction and the risk of getting stuck. With crab steering the tanker can be driven sideways in headlands, keep the tractor further from ditches etc. The axles lock for on road driving. The rearmost axle can be kept steered, if desired. The tanker follows its own tracks in regard to the tractor. Weight is distributed over an area more than twice the size, in the pictured situation over a width of 370 cm! (Tractor 650 mm rear tyres, tanker 800 mm, the tankers wheels are 50% in union.) The unique frame of the AGRONIC injector gives the possibility to adjust the angle of the injector frame in regard to the tanker, keeping the injector at the correct angle to the field. The angle is still small enough so that no twist can be felt in the tractor, making it effortless to drive the tractor in a straight line. 4 Centre mount pump boom AGRONIC pump boom enables the operator to use the tanker without leaving the cabin. The boom is mounted on the centre of the drawbar and has a rack and pinion swivel system. Optional equipment includes third swing joint, boom extension and unloading through reflux hose. Pump is powered by a reliable OMR hydraulic drive. Pump capacity is up to 8000 l/min, oil draw from tractor only l/min. The hydraulic pump feeds the slurry to the intake of the unloading pump. The unloading pump then moves the slurry through the mixing pipe to the tank. Side mount pump boom AGRONIC side mount pump boom is an affordable and quick way to clean filling of the tanker Loading through 168 mm hose. Capacity up to 5500 l/min, oil draw 50 l/min. Loading hose equipped with one-way valve leads to bottom of tank. Luffing cylinders are available as option, making pumping over higher walls possible. The boom is easily retrofitted to almost any tanker.. Unloading through reflux, a quick, clean way to transfer, to flush drain wells, etc. On the picture on right AGRONIC side mount pump boom standard. On option, swing cylinder kit and extra hinge for side, reach over 90cm wall 4m below ground, with extension 5 m. The reflux hose is 2x 150 mm diameter and the loading hose starts as a 168 mm then going to 2x125 mm. The placement of the hosing makes swivel joints unnecessary. In transfer through the reflux hose capacity is up to 10 m3/min. The loading is from the bottom, keeping frothing at a minimum. As the reflux hose leads foam back to the slurry storage, the full capacity of the tanker can be utilised. Boom is galvanised all over. 5 AGRONIC disc injector and hose spreader The AGRONIC disc injector makes possible the distribution of slurry directly to crops during growing season. The losses and smell are minimised and season can be prolonged. Spring-loaded discs make mm cuts into soil, into which slurry is carefully dosed through a chopper distributor. The AGRONIC disc injector is suitable as is for cultivated soil. The open build and reasonable towing power requirements make it possible to drive directly on ploughed land. The optional trailing shoe even replaces one turn of harrowing. As the slurry is not injected deeper than necessary, and the cuts are kept small, the towing power requirements are kept reasonable. One disc/nozzle makes the injector work well in stubble field and long growth. The slurry is injected to the cuts through rubber nozzles. Each cutter swivels individually to avoid obstacles. There is no need to lift injector in sweeping bends. The injector frame is not fully rigid, but swivels and bends independent of tanker. The swivel and bend is damped with adjustable hydraulic dampers. The wings and centre frame are equipped with pressure accumulators, giving the ability to follow the contour of the field in three sections. This is especially important on fields with a high centre and open ditches. The centre disc is 300 mm diameter and made of resilient hardened boric steel. The standard cutter is 4+6 mm, this build has been in use for years and has proven efficient in use. But if a wider cut is desired, an additional 8mm disc may be attached. Due to the large hose size (50 mm) and an efficient distributor the use of the injector does not slow the unloading. The galvanised booms are suspended with flexing joints to the lift. The booms are also swivelling, so they can give on impact with obstacles. The distributor is also made of galvanised steel. This distributor does not try to act as a pump so oil draw is low. The chopping is performed in two stages; the slurry goes through a chopper before the distributor, then again at the ends of the distributor beam. This gives reliability even with slurry containing grass. The chopper blades are made of Hardox wear plate. The distributor can rotate in both directions, blades are reversible. Emptying the stone trap is easy with the optional hydraulic slide valve.

7 Slurry rate computer and Joystick control AGRONIC tankers can be equipped with a high quality Finnish made electronic control system. The control system is based on the CAN bus. This makes the cabling in the trailer very simple. The control system is also easy to expand. Electric valves require only pressure and free flow return from the tractor. The valves are engineered so that the tractors hydraulic controls are not needed in the use of the tanker. Joysticks are used for control. This makes the use of the pump boom and spreader logical and easy. Locking functions, like distributor and bogie are controlled with toggle switches, bogie lock is monitored. The speed of pump boom and spreader action is adjustable. Joystick control can be enhanced with a English language slurry rate computer. The slurry rate computer simplifies tanker control and monitoring of spread volume, working time and covered area. Options With optional equipment we can tailor the tanker to your needs. Ball hitch and drawbar. Due to the vast masses an eye hitch has limited durability; a ball hitch has lubrication and large contact areas without play. Ball hitches are available to most tractor models to replace the standard hitch. A hydraulic drawbar makes it possible to transfer load of more than a ton to the front axle. Pressure accumulators on each side of the piston lets the ram give on road, replacing drawbar suspension. Cross-tank screw mixer for pig manure, the screw mixes the manure and transfers it to the pump inlet. Recirculation mixing and screw mixing in union, makes spreading even the most sedimenting slurries effortless. Bottom loading connectors are equipped with Bauerstyle quick connectors. The reflux hose attaches to the highest point in the tank roof. Loading pipe follows the roof of the tank then turning down to the bottom of the tank. The top part of the loading pipe has a hole which prevents the tanker from being emptied by siphoning. Air valves can let air into the slurry hose, emptying the hose to the storage and providing a clean uncoupling of the hose. The standard spreader plate sprays the slurry to the sides of the tanker making headlands easy to cover. The spread coverage varies with used PTO speed and the setting of the emptying valve between m. The dosage control controls dosage based on speed and PTO rpm. The slurry rate computer also has an automatic headland function; a single button lowers the spreader, turns on the distributor and starts dosage control.
