2 VarioSystem for flatbed superstructures Hestal VarioSystem consisting of: SolidMaster swing pillar without attachment for roof brace SolidMaster 801 S - swing pillar with attachment for roof brace SolidMaster swing pillar with integrated dropside fasteners SolidMaster 802 S - swing pillar with integrated dropside fasteners and attachment for curtain frame With a minimum of components, the Hestal VarioSystem satisfies a wide range of requirements in relation to: Superstructure height, dropside height, fastener securing and tarpaulin slat positions. Individual customer requirements can be satisfied with this modular system. For any new superstructure design, and also for existing systems, the Hestal VarioSystem is ideally suited due to its effective and efficient utilisation options. The SolidMaster is available in lengths 500 mm, 600 mm, 800 mm and 1,000 mm The SolidMaster 801 and 801 S models can be augmented with the tried & tested Hestal dropside fasteners 681, 686 and 710. Other versions: On the other hand, the SolidMaster 802 and 802 S have integrated, securable dropside fasteners. Thanks to a C profile, the SolidMaster 801 S and 802 S models offer an additional connection to the roof strap. This is where the combination options of the VarioMasters come into play, allowing individual length settings and individual tarpaulin slat positions due to the modular design. The Hestal 654N, 655N and 657 safety dropside hinges round off the modular system.

3 SolidMaster S S The Hestal SolidMaster 801, 801 S, 802 and 802 S dropside system is used as a centre pillar on the vehicle superstructure. Its safe, easy operation permits rapid access to the load area. 6 SolidMaster 801 Attachment examples The Hestal VarioSystem for flatbed superstructures offers a great many combination options for the SolidMaster 801 and 801 S with the tried & tested Hestal dropside fasteners and hinges. The SolidMaster 802 and 802 S already have integrated, securable dropside fasteners. Attachment example SolidMaster 801 with Hestal dropside fasteners and safety hinges: Dropside fastener 681 S/SL: Designed for aluminium or steel dropsides (thickness 25 mm), automatic securing of the dropside in the event of load pressure Dropside fastener 686: For especially narrow dropside chamber profiles (65 mm lock plate width), automatic securing of the pillar in the event of load pressure Dropside fastener 710: For dropside from 500 1,000 mm, with integrated loading pressure detection All dropside fastener versions operate with two independently-operating safety mechanisms. Hinge 654 N: Customs-approved dropside hinge for aluminium dropsides, 25 mm or 30 mm thick (comprising hinge bearing and hinge bolts) Hinge 655 N: Customs-approved dropside hinge for aluminium dropsides, 25 mm thick (comprising pivot bearing and weld-on bolts, right or left) Hinge 657: Suitable for light flatbeds and car trailers (25 mm thick), for external and internal dropsides, even with especially small outer frame (comprising hinge bolts and bearing housing) The design principle of all dropside hinges described above prevents inadvertent uncoupling of the side walls.
