The products offered under the label WALTHER System Bosecker include not only power distributors for outside areas but also readytouse transformer stations, which are produced in Zittau. Meanwhile, the WALTHER rane of hihquality distributors comprises a multitude of different applicationspecific types, with numerous special distributors, which are also available with individual equipment variants. 10 Over years of expertise Made in Germany WALTHER headquarters, Eisenber Subsidiary Bosecker, Zittau Company profile By establishin his company in Grimma near Leipzi in 897, Ferdinand Walther laid the foundation for a successful mediumsized company. In 945 Walher moved to Bad Reichenhall (Bavaria) and then in 970 to new larer premises in Eisenber, near Kaiserslautern (RhinelandPalatinate) The ood infrastructure of this location close to the centres RhineMain/RhineNeckar enables fast service to all our market partners. Toether, WALTHER in Eisenber and the subsidiary company BOSECKER in Zittau (Saxonia) have about 300 employees. 12 Desin and Production Tools Even hih precision tools which are required for production are manufactured at WALTHER by means of CNC controlled millin machines and electronically controlled spark erodin and cuttin machines. Experienced desiners use the latest CAD technoloy systems to plan devices for practical use which comply with current standards and reulations. From the smallest connector to the most complex socket combination WALTHER produces the entire product rane in Eisenber (RhinelandPalatinate). Injection mouldin machines Centrally controlled injection mouldin machines produce plastic enclosures from typetested first rade plastic. An interated supervision proramme corrects deviations, warns or switches the machine off. This ensures consistently hih quality.

13 Diecast housins Aluminium housins for Procon industrial connectors are produced on diecast machines with builtin quality control. This supervision ensures that only firstclass products are accepted for further processin and assembly. Pins and sleeves have to meet hihest quality standards. This ensures constantly easy pluin and withdrawin over the years. Furthermore all contacts are equipped with open, captive screws for faster assembly. All contacts are turned from massive brass!

14 Efficient Assembly Proven Safety Durin and after assembly, strinent test are conducted to ensure the quality of WALTHER products. Hih volume bulk production items are produced on fully automatic assembly lines. After each assembly operation the product is electronically tested. The impeccable condition of the device is documented on the enclosed test certificate. All data is saved and can be retrieved with the control number. 18 Series A 3 A 32 Housins of series A 3 to A 6 are provided with a sinle lockin lever. Housins of series A 32 have two lockin levers. Series A 3 connectors are available both with screw and IDC terminals. Series A 4 connectors, however, are only available with screw terminals. Series A 5 is equipped with crimp contacts of series B for 6 A. The use of a codin pin prevents incorrect matin of connectors. Screw terminal inserts are equipped with a wire protection. This wire protection saves the timeconsumin crimpin of wireend ferrules. The convenience of IDC connection is now also available with a classic square connector a 4pole (3+PE) industrial plu connector of series A. Male and female versions are available in hoods and coupler hoods made of plastic. Series A 3 housins are available either in plastic or zinc diecastin accordin to your requirements. If necessary, the enaed crimp contacts can be released by means of a special removal tool. This applies also for the series A, A 6 and A 32, which are additionally available with screw contact carriers. Of course, all WALTHER contacts are provided with open, captive screws. Thanks to insulation displacement connection, it now only takes a few seconds to connect the 4pole round conductor: Only the sleeve nut has to be slid over the conductor since splicin rin, seal and strain relief are included in the sleeve nut. Snapon mountin adapters are ideal for mountin into switch cabinets. the switch cabinet, which then enables the installation of printed circuit boards. The clearly arraned swintype insertion plate allows easy wirin. The contacts are crimped with a special crimpin tool and then snapped into the contact carrier by means of an insertion tool. If required, they can be released with a special removal tool. Series DD is the economic and spacesavin solution for applications in which hih contact density is needed. Up to 26 contacts Housin size 5 with sinle lockin system Housin size 9 with double lockin system Housin size 678 with both lockin systems Housin size with sinle lockin systems The hih contact density requires a hih wirin density. To ensure comfortable termination, maximum conductor sizes and optimum wirin space, WALTHER offers housins in hiher version. Of course these housins can also be used with the other series. Housins of series B 6 B 24: More possibilities with exchaneable lockin levers Easy and costsavin exchane of sinle and double lockin levers in case of damae or material fatiue. A special removal tool ensures quick and easy customisation of the connector to meet any chane in the users requirements. The modular MO series is an extension of the PROCON rane of industrial connectors. The advantae is the modularisation of inserts. The known division into male and female inserts does not apply here anymore. The user has the possibility of inverse equipment, i.e. in the modular system, a retainin frame can accommodate contact carriers for both pin and sleeve contacts. In combination with the proven series B standard housins, the MO series allows the synthesis of electrical and optical contacts in inserts with different amperaes and voltaes inside one retainin frame. The modular construction of inserts leaves the decision in individual applications to the user. Due to the extensive rane of different available housin sizes, the user can implement combinations of 2 up to max. 2 x 7 contact carriers per housin and thus realise any pole number from 3 to 280.
