Hih efficiency and Low cost of Ownership throuhout the entire motor lifetime have been the basis for the W22 development. A desin created to maximize performance and enery savins. Built to last W22 motors are built usin hih quality FC-200 cast iron from WEG s own foundries, assurin maximum durability and hih performance in aressive conditions. The new fan cover desin provides reat impact resistance. Additionally the endshields have been desined for a better bearin heat dissipation and structural riidity. Protected by our WEG coatins hih performance paint system capable of passin a 240hr ASTM 117B salt fo chamber test. 6 Desin Details New coolin system Redesined to provide improved air flow throuh all motor frames keepin low operational temperatures and assurin reliability and extended lifetime. The aerodynamic desin of the fan cover increases effective airflow, thus minimizin losses due to the recirculation of air between fan and fan cover. The fan was desined to provide strenth and reduced noise level. Motor terminal box and eyebolts were repositioned on larer frames to allow better airflow. The new W22 coolin system also contributes to: Cooler bearin temperature extendin relubrication intervals. Lower Noise Level fulfillin the most demandin Health & Safety reulations. Lower Overall Operational Temperature resultin in loner life. Terminal box Increased internal space makin connections more accessible to the user resultin in an easier cable handlin and connection. Terminal box can be mounted on top, left or riht site of the motor usin the same frame on the 447T and larer motors. Top mountin is optional on smaller frames. 6

7 Frame Motor feet are solid providin a more resistant structure aainst vibration. The frame desin has points that can be used as provisions for vibration sensors as a standard feature.
