4 1. MG Holder (pintle), Inserted into #2 or #3 Mount 2. Front Support Tube for MG-holder or Searchlight 3. Rear Support Tube ( A pintle-mount is used with machine guns as the mounting hardware that mates the machine gun to a vehicle or tripod. Essentially the pintle is a tube with a cradle for the gun on top. Both the front-corner (2) and rear (3) machine gun mounts accept the same pintle (1). 4
