April was a wonderful month for riding! A few of our Officers are headed to HOT (Harley Officer Training) in Shreveport, LA. Where they will come back with new ideas and answers to questions. Thank them for taking time out and attending this informative session that helps remind us that we are all about. RIDE AND HAVE FUN!!!! All the other stuff is just stuff! Thank you Rosie Galluzzi, Donna Watson and all the Ladies of Harley for your hard work on our Picnic. The picnic was awesome. Even the rain did not get in the way of our parade! We had a great turnout, some awesome door prizes and lots of wonderful comradery. Our own Charlie Burton and Deb Mumma did the cooking again this year and the BBQ was awesome! Please be sure to thank Rosie, Donna, LOH ladies, Charlie and Deb for their hard work! This thing was put together by those that simply love to do this for our group! It is amazing how much stuff we get done, and all with volunteers, thank you all for your hard work. The turnout for our rides is so exciting to me, thank you to all that are coming out to ride! Our day off rides are very popular, us working people are a little envious but are happy you that have already earned the time off are enjoying this beautiful place we call home. On behalf of our Chapter, the Board has chosen Promise In Brevard as this year s Key Note charity to support. The organization supports children and young adults with special needs, to assist them live a life full of opportunities and independence never thought possible. Charlie Anderson, Chairperson for our Key Note Event will begin meetings this month, the group will be busy organizing and preparing. If you are interested in helping please join us at the planning meetings, the more volunteers we have the better our event! Charlie Burton is working on the Golf Tournament again this year, so start practicing!! Please remember that we are one of few Chapters that has a room at the dealership to meet in so remember to patronize the Dealership that makes all this possible for us! 2 We want to thank everyone that came out to our annual HOG picnic. Hope all enjoyed a great day to get together with our Friends. Thanks to Charlie and his crew for all their hard work in feeding the HOGS great BBQ, and to all that participated by giving their time to make it another great picnic. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all the MOMS. Have a great day. Our next LOH scheduled event will be Sunday July 24 for a fun day on the seas aboard the Victory Cruise Ship. The Ship departs at 12 noon and we must arrive an hour before departure. To all that want to attend you MUST sign up and be paid by July 17. The cost is $29.00 per person which includes $20.00 in slot credit with qualified play (earn 8 points to qualify), dining, live entertainment, free drinks while gaming. This will be a Chapter ride meeting at the Pineda boat ramp at 9:45 A.M. with KSU at 10:00 A.M. sharp, Road Captain Nick Galluzzi. In case of rain we can resort to our cages. All parking will be in a secured area. Bikers are Funny Too Dear Abby, I've never written to you before, but I really need your advice on what could be a crucial decision. I've suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs...phone rings, but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently, although when I ask their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don't know them." I sometimes stay awake to look out for her cab coming home, but she always comes walking up the drive as I hear the sound of a car leaving, around the corner, as if she has gotten out and walked the rest of the way. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a taxi at all? I once picked up her cell phone, just to see what time it was. This caused her to go completely berserk. She quickly snatched the phone out of my hand and cursed me hysterically, screaming that I should never touch her personal property, then accused me of trying to spy on her. Anyway, I have never broached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her. I decided I was going to park my Harley Davidson Lowrider next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the street around the corner when she came home. It was at that moment, crouching behind my motorcycle that I noticed a small amount of motor oil leaking through the gasket between the rear head and rocker arm cover. So...is this something I can easily repair myself or do you think I should take it back to the dealer?

They can be painted outrageous colors, with strange murals, and no one thinks they look terrible or silly. They just look like a Harley. 7. There are more Harley mechanics around than for any other bike. 8. Even an old, beat-up one still looks good. 9. They have a rich history and century-long heritage. 10. Almost anyone can ride one. 11. Almost everyone knows what it is. 12. You can get a Harley tattoo. 13. You can get a Harley bumper sticker. 14. Tricked-out used ones can cost more than new ones. 15.
