From the early 1970 s lime green Kawasaki KX machines have been ever-present on the world s motocross tracks. In that time, the iconic Kawasaki KX brand has transformed the lives of countless riders and moved the sport of motocross forwards with a series engineering evolutions and technical updates each focused on shaving that extra second off in qualifying, making that first turn ahead of the pack, carving the perfect corner line or clearing doubles with ease. 4 For Kawasaki, KX pushes boundaries. 11 LAUNCH CONTROL The 2015 KX250F features a launch control system similar to that on KRT factory race bikes. With the simple press of a button, riders can activate a separate engine map designed to ensure efficient race starts in slippery conditions. The Launch Control Mode map retards ignition timing, allowing tyres to gain grip in the lower gears in low-traction situations letting riders fully focus on the race start.
