The general guidelines to consider when selecting meter equipment not shown is that PacifiCorp: 1) Requires EUSERC approved metering equipment 2) Requires manual link bypasses on 400 amps and greater services. Lever bypasses and automatic bypasses are not allowed. 3) Manual link bypass sockets are recommended on all residential services; no interruption of power for meter maintenance 4) Requires that all non-residential meter sockets shall have manual link bypass. 5) Requires that safety sockets be on all commercial poly-phase services and on single-phase 480-volt class 200 services. 6) Requires ANSI detachable type meter socket--no A-base or K-base sockets allowed. 7) Requires all sockets shall be ring type ring-less is not allowed. 8) Allows single and poly-phase direct connect sockets up to a maximum of 225 amperes (class 200). 9) Allows 400 ampere direct connect sockets with manual link bypasses for single phase only.
