9 INITIAL Distribute buses to remote parking lots with shuttle bus system or closein lots where patrons walk or shuttle to Inaugural activities Close major roadways (SE/SW Freeway, Potomac Freeway), and dedicate to bus parking Use portion of Metrorail station parking (at least 600 buses e.g., Greenbelt and Vienna) Provide bus-only access on major river crossings (14 th St. Bridge, 11 th Street, Roosevelt Bridges) Require all buses attending event to register and be accounted for through Bus.dc.gov FINAL Park all tour buses in the District Keep sufficient spare capacity for rogue buses. Use SE/SW Freeway for shuttle service route from RFK Stadium Minimize background traffic by defining a no-drive cordon beyond the hard and soft perimeters Plans modified to address stakeholder concerns
