27 Conclusions for transport planning in cities: Cycling can help advance the mobility transformation in the short term, since it involves simple planning procedures and low implementation costs The backbone of this mobility transformation is public transit, especially rail-based transit Cities must be receptive to new forms of mobility; new infrastructure should be able to adapt to future trends February 2019/ 27
