Companies also benefit from Germany s excellent global economic links and the international exchange of knowledge, products and specialists.

4 Europe's Economic Hub Germany is the largest market in Europe. It constitutes 20 percent of Europe's GDP (EU-28) and is home to 16 percent of the total European Union (EU) population. The German economy is both highly industrialized and diversified with equal focus placed on services and production. We need a strong and sustainable infrastructure in which all the different means of transport work together. We support electro-vehicles with batteries or fuel cells. Our goal: world leader for electro mobility: until Mio. electro vehicles on German streets.

13 The VDV Verband Deutscher Verkehrsunternehmen About 600 companies performing public passenger transport and rail freight transport in Germany are organised in the VDV (Association of German Transport Companies). The VDV advises and supports its member companies and politicians, supports the exchange of experience and know-how between the members and prepares technical, operational, legal and economic principles.
