About the Propbusters: Club Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, 7:00pm at the Community Center Building, Goodells County Park. During the Summer months, weather permitting, meetings are held at the field. Club Breakfast is the first Saturday of each month, 9:00 at Cavis Pioneer Restaurant on Lapeer Rd. West of Wadhams Rd. Flying afterwards. The Propbusters R/C flying Club is located at the Goodells County Park, 8345 County Park Drive, Goodells MI The flying field is just West of Castor Rd. - off the parks East parking lot. The general location of the park is South of Lapeer Rd.-about 10 miles West of Port Huron. Our map coordinates are 42 59' 02" N ' 02" W Come and join us! Club Meetings and Breakfast are open to everyone. If you are an experienced pilot, or just thinking about getting into R/C, come check us out. 2 All AMA rules apply. * Field Rules There will be a place in the frequency board to sign in, all pilots must sign in. Pick up your frequency pin number and deposit your AMA card in its place. * If your frequency pin number is not there, place your radio in the compound area until the pin is returned. All aircraft must be tethered before starting the engine in the pit area. * Radio and aircraft must be pre-flight checked before the first flight of the day. * Do not taxi aircraft from the pit area. * When flying stay inside of the flight station. Pilots must have a spotter during club events or when a large number of people are at the field, or if they are a first-time guest. No more than 4 aircraft are allowed in the air at the same time, except for combat exhibitions. * You must have a Propbusters dues card or be a guest of a club member to fly. * When you leave the field always make sure you clean up any mess you or your guest might have made. * Members will be responsible for their guests. * No flying while lawn maintenance is being performed and no lawn maintenance will be started while members are flying. * THESE RULES WILL BE ENFORCED * Designates everyday enforced rules, others are Event-Only Page 2

3 St. Clair County R/C Propbusters Meeting Minutes June 10, 2009 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Carl with (13) members and (0) guests present. Doug M /Al made a motion to accept the secretary s report as read by Doug Jr. Motion passed. A motion was made by Doug M/ Gary S. to accept the treasurer s report as read by Ed O. Motion passed. Old business: Fun Fly Saturday 06/13 Carl reported 60% chance he wouldn t be able to attend Gary S was asked for some tips Make an agenda, but it will usually fall apart Activities include: National Anthem, pilots meeting, candy drop, open fly Raffle for prizes and 50/50 Bud will do the candy drop John Diver will man the raffle table 43 letters went out, got responses from 8 Sheila is going to Pastime Hobbies Al F. will run the Impound table Jack Delisle will provide/handle the PA system Leave the line open by the canopies to aid in viewing All radios will be impounded (72 MHz and 1.2 G) Fence Repair Decide whether 4 or 6 fence May need more poles, depending on how high the fence is to be Further discussion at July meeting Field Clean-up day Both days were canceled due to weather Is there a need to reschedule? Decided a clean-up day is not needed Pond Update Pond is lost John Diver mentioned he saw another pond located off Riley Center Rd. 5 St. Clair County R/C Propbusters Meeting Minutes July 8, 2009 The meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM by Sheila with (8) members and (0) guests present. Doug Sr /Gary S made a motion to accept the secretary s report as read by Doug Jr. Motion passed. A motion was made by Gary S/ Doug Sr. to accept the treasurer s report as read by Ed O. Motion passed. Old business: Fun Fly General consensus was it turned out good The vendor (Who Let the Dogs Out) did a good job and is willing to come back for the September charity fly. Next time, we will announce that a portion of the money the vendor collects goes to the dog pound Fence Repair 13 or 15 poles are needed total Have mostly 6 fence on hand See if Stan can extend the short poles to use 6 fence Doug Jr/Ed L made a motion to allot $ for fence supplies motion passed New business: We have (2) new members (not present) AMA has a new Park Flyer/Electric Flyer insurance Add a reminder to the newsletter that members MUST post their club membership card when flying Per Ed L. The tractor tires need to be loaded as it is having trouble pulling the mowers Ed will get prices Doug JR/Gary S made a motion to pay up to $ to get the tires loaded. If the amount is more, the club will reimburse Ed Motion passed Carl is moving and has to step down as president Needs to be posted in July newsletter Nomination will be accepted at August meeting with a vote in September for a new Vice President. Gary Smedes is accepting a nomination The Farm Museum has asked to borrow the grill and gave a $20.00 donation Ed O./Ed L. made a motion to donate the grill to the farm museum with the understanding that we can borrow it if needed motion passed Bring charity fun-fly suggestions to August meeting East Wings Fun-Fly June 18 th at the new field bring tick spray Motion to close was made by Gary S/Doug Jr. Meeting 7:40 PM.
