PCC does not have trash removal service (cost too much), so please take all your belonging (trash, airplanes, pets and their dropping, kids and spouses) home with you when you leave. 2 Approval of last month s Minutes: Motion by: Ken M, Approved: Yes Announcements: J&M Hobby House has glow fuel in stock. Treasurer s Report: Dave S presented his report. Club has made its annual budget goal and has a small surplus. Eric E delivered $150 of raffle proceeds. Thanks to Eric E and John B for being our raffle masters. Membership Committee Report: There are 110 members (99 Adults and 11 Juniors). Safety Committee Report: Watch out for wasps hives. Also, check yourself for ticks after walking out in the grass. LadyBug got one. Jeff O got four. (Wear light colored clothing, easier to spot the ticks. BC) Field Maintenance Report: Dave S put a bolt on the container hinge as a temporary fix. A long term solution is still needed. Old Business: Steve W has been working on the wind turbine. Dave S got an Army Surplus antenna mast which could be used for mounting the wind turbine. Flight Instructors Report: n/a New Business: The club members present had a Closed Session on a membership issue. Contest Reports/Upcoming Events: SAM21 has an Old Timers event the 27th at Schmidt Ranch (Elk Grove). For Old Timers like the Simplex, San Jose, Benny Boxcar and Clipper. Meeting Adjournment: 2 SAFETY REMINDER When exiting the flying field, look both ways before merging on to Hwy 1. The stretch of Hwy 1 in front of PCC is a passing zone. Even though there is no traffic coming from the south, there may be cars passing slower traffic going south. So look to the right to see if there is anyone overtaking and occupy the northbound lane, before you pull onto northbound Hwy 1.

3 GATE LOCK REVISIT The proper way to lock the gate. Make sure the Fire Protection District lock is in series with our lock. So either lock can open the gate. DO NOT bypass the RED Fire District lock! MODE WHAT? Do you know there is more than one way our transmitter is configured? NEW MEMBERS Mode 1 is popular in Asia and Europe. Mode 2 is popular in the U.S., Canada, Central and South America. Mode 3 is reverse of Mode 2, and Mode 4 is reverse of Mode 1. And then there are Single Stick transmitter! Confused? Most of the PCCer fly on Mode 2. If you want to try other modes, you are on your own! John is helping Waqar and Ravi (father and son) to fly. 3

This is a rare sight; John is sitting down! He usually prefers flying. With Ankith and Lew. This is the other party of the Bob's second midair in 3 week. This one belongs to Robert K. 4
