2 INTRODUCTION Introduction Pipelife Nederland B.V. situated in Enkhuizen (The Netherlands) is part of the European Pipelife Group, a joint venture between Solvay, Brussels and the Austrian Wienerberger Group since st January 995. As a pioneer in plastics in 947, under the name of POLVA, the development has been started of electrical conduits. Now complete PVC, PE and PP systems are available for Electrical installations, transport of water, waste, sewerage, gas distribution, drainage, chimney lining etc. The production and main warehouse are situated in Enkhuizen. The international Research and Development functions for the Pipelife Group are located in the Netherlands where Pipelife Nederland is continuously innovating to improve and to extend their range of products.
