4 Wednesday, 15 November 2017 COMMERCIAL SESSIONS PRELIMINARY PROGRAM Welcome & Administration (20 min) Commercial Session 1 Sulphur in jet fuel (70 min) There has been much discussion about reducing the limits of sulfur content in jet fuel. What reasons are driving this discussion? What implications would tighter specifications with respect to sulphur content have on aircraft components and on the production and distribution of jet fuel? Refreshment Break (45 min) Commercial Session 2 The changing landscape of Into-plane fuelling (75 min) In the past, into-plane fuelling was a function incorporated into an into-wing fuel supply contract. Over the years, as more and more supply contracts took on different variations (such as into-storage and ex-hydrant contracts), into-plane services became increasingly seen as a separate transaction. What is the current landscape for intoplane business in different parts of the world and what are the issues and challenges that have emerged with the current landscape? Lunch (90 min) Commercial Interactive Session 1 Understanding carbon offset programs and CORSIA (60 min) What is a carbon offset program and how does it work? How is the recent scheme that ICAO is pursuing, the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), different? Commercial Interactive Session 2 Airline Consortium Model: Progress made in improving the consortium model - Airlines only (60 min) This airlines-only session will report on the initiatives taken by A4A to improve the airline consortium model in USA and to seek feedback from airlines. The session will explore the details Commercial Session 4 Characteristics of fuel supply in South America and impact of recent market and political changes on jet fuel supply (60 min) What are the general characteristics of the fuel supply market in South America?
