Runningland offers laboratory testing for petrochemical products and equipment condition monitoring. The company operates two professional labs in Shanghai for: Instruments Metering, Calibration & Testing Petroleum Oil Testing Condition Monitoring Our staff consists of specialists holding senior and intermediate grade job titles and our operators are certified Senior Technicians trained to industry standards. Mission Statement Runningland s main mission is to operate as a world-class calibration and testing laboratory in order to provide reliable, high quality, and impartial test results to customers. To ensure that our testing results are accurate and internationally recognized, we play an active role in both local and international inter-laboratory comparisons and constantly organize proficiency-testing programs. To further integrate our state-of-the-art infrastructure, Runningland's laboratory operations are fully networked with the LIMS system. 5 Laboratory Accreditation Laboratory operations of Runningland Metrology & Testing (Shanghai) Company have met the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005 "General Requirements for Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories", (CNAS-CL01"Testing and Calibration Laboratory Competence Accreditation Criteria"). Runningland was accredited by CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) with registration No. CNAS L5287. To demonstrate professionalism and competence in carrying out specified testing, measurement and calibration, CNAS provides the means of determining, recognizing and promoting the competence of laboratories. To ensure participation and meet international standards, 44 national bodies including the former China National Accreditation committee for Laboratories (now replaced by CNAS), signed a Memorandum of Understanding on September During 2000 and 2001, CNACL have signed the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement and three years later, CNAL have signed ILAC-MRA. CNACL was later replaced by CNAS as China s National Accreditation committee and carries forth the MRA-ILAC signatory. ASTM Proficiency Testing To continuously operate as a world-class laboratory, Runningland periodically and consistently participated in the inter-laboratory crosscheck programs mediated by ASTM. The ASTM Proficiency Testing Programs (PTP) enables laboratories to assess testing proficiency compared to other worldwide laboratories that are participating in the same program. By using the statistical quality assurance (SQA) Tool, it will enable the laboratory to compare, improve, and maintain a certain high level of performance. 6 Oil Proficiency Examination & Training The Shanghai Lubricant Association has held the 12th Exam of Oil for Junior Level Training on Apr. 15, 2011 at Runningland Metrology & Testing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Previous annual training sessions and examination were held in 2010 and 2009 respectively in the area of Oil and Lubrication. In order to maintain scientific professionalism, Runningland's state of the art facilities have hosted various training sessions for trainees, introducing them to newly improved testing methods revised annually by GB, ASTM, ISO, and IP. The Shanghai Lubricant Association works closely with industry-related institutions and enterprises, making contributions to the development and progress of the Lubricant Industry in China and internationally. 8 Aviation Turbine Fuel In addition to fuel, oil, grease, kerosene and paraffin, Runningland also provides Aviation Turbine Fuels services, specifically identified as Jet A for civil use. The samples collected are used to appropriately examine their conformance to detailed requirements as to composition, volatility, fluidity, combustion, corrosion, thermal stability, contaminants, and additives. 9 Aviation Fuel Test Runningland provides field tests for Aviation fuels, which offers flexibility for clients in the event sampling and testing locations are within the vicinity of the laboratory s metropolitan area. The samples, under client discretion, are brought back to the main laboratory for more detailed testing and analysis after initial field-testing have been done. JF-1A-HH Handheld Conductivity Meter Hydro-Light JF-WA1 ASTM D2624 ASTM D3240 This test method determines electrical conductivity of aviation and distillate fuels with and without static dissipator additives. The equipment provides measurement of the conductivity when the fuel is uncharged, or in other words at rest. This test method measures for undissolved water in aviation turbine fuels in flowing fuel streams. This process avoids exposing the fuel sample to atmosphere or conditions within a sample container that might alter test results.
