2 About the System About the System Access products, such as access doors, covers and dampers, which enable cleaning and provide permanent and effective access to the inside of ventilation ducts. Together with the ducts ad fittings, the flanges and G clamps make up TRANS system a whole duct system with flange connections. All TRANS system products are supplied with diameters matching the dimensions of the round ducts. The only difference is that all the fittings have a zero tolerance policy, i.e. they have the dimensions of the round ducts. The remaining dimensions are based on the tables and information provided in a product s catalogue datasheet. Benefits of Use The access products provide easy and quick access to the system to clean ducts inside. The access doors are also suited for installation in a system that is already in place, without compromising its integrity and the existing air flow conditions. Installation Guide The access doors are installed in holes cut out in the duct according to an attached pattern. After the access door is aligned with the door, only two closing hand wheels have to be tightened. In the case of TRANS system, all the products are fastened together with clamps, which are pressed centripetally to connect two flanges. Labelling ALNOR products are furnished with the construction industry s B sign and product codes according to their technical specifications contained in this catalogue. 533

6 Access Doors IPR-RRD The IPR-RRD revision door is equipped with a polyethylene gasket. It is designed for mounting on round ducts. Construstion of the IPR-RRD revision door and its gasket ensure its perfect adherence to a surface of a duct on which it is mounted. 9 Insulated access door for rectangular duct IPFD B 25 A The IPFD access door to access and cleaning of rectangular ducts. The IPFD are made of galvanized steel and the door is additionally sealed with a rubber mat. It also has thermal insulation of glass mineral wool with a thickness of 25 mm.
